Honestly they should push out Code Veronica in mid 2021 as a cross gen game. Then you can own RE0,1,2,3,CV,4,5,6,and 7 in a recent format all on PS4/XboxOne
Is the game actually going to be released on April 2020? It was just announced now and it's already coming out in four months? I really hope the game's development wasn't rushed.
Never played RE3 so I don't have the nostalgia for it like I did with 2 .But from what I hear the whole time Nemesis is chasing you that's not really my cup of tea I just find it annoying rather then hard might pass on this.

this game release right after one year. and announced with release date. come on.
this is RE2 remake featuring jill. nothing more, nothing less. and RE2 remake is most overrated game of this year. short 4 hour game with only one interesting location and one terrible location.

In the original game is it pretty annoying and gets repetitive.
The main thing I want to see carried over and expanded upon with the multiple story-paths.
I have a feeling (because it would cost more production values) they won't.
They may expand Carlos Oliveira's role to be a full campaign.
I’m kind of hyped for it. At first I thought it was going to be first-person (no thanks). I didn’t play the original so not as hyped as I was for RE2. I was happy with 2 though, so I may preorder this one as well.
@R4gn4r0k: By-and-large CGI. There were intermittent cutscenes, and very little gameplay. Fortunately, we have a scale to measure by with RE2, as i'm sure it's going to be largely the same with a differing story/environment.
Nice, I'll definitely be getting it. I don't need or want any hardware, so I may have to actually purchase the game instead of getting it free with a video card like RE2, but oh well, I suppose...

Yes. It still has the occasional puzzle, but it's level design tended to be larger and less cohesive RE2's with far more focus on combat.
Having said that, it still hard far more of a survival horror aspect than something like RE4/5.
It also introduced weapon crafting, which RE2 carried over and a RPG like path system where the player would make momentary decisions directing the story. Which was pretty much all but ignored in later instalments.

Her classic outfit is a pre-order bonus so mods will give it to us for free just like the DLC outfits in RE2 Remake PC version.
I'd have to see the full model, but Claire's classic outfit looked very awkward in RE2 and conflicted with the modern style of the environments and characters.
Would have just preferred something more unique than another boring tank top for Jill's regular outfit.

Not even sure why they called it the "classic" costume as the design was changed.
Thankfully you can just use mods on the PC.
This one looks alot closer to the original costume but making it preorder DLC, along with the original music is a bullshit practice.
Probably get modded still to make it sluttier, such is the nature of PC gaming.
Oh yeah, can't wait. I hope they add stuff in the game and with larger environments. I enjoyed RE2remake, but felt they gimped on some of the locations.
Also, it's so typical that modern times would replace her skirt with pants. I'm hoping the classic outfit looks better live than it does in that screenshot.
Won't have the balls to finish his, which is stupid. Just randomly having someone show up is the worst. It's like Jack in RE7. Not saying it's bad, but it gets my heart going.
And I finished RE7 in VR completely. It was scary, but I managed.
