RAGE 2 or Metro Exodus? Which SP FPS looks better?

I'd have to say metro.

I really liked the first two games.

Finished both and liked the setting and world.

Also played the original rage and also finished it.

Had fun, but I thought it was not on the same level as metro.

2 very different types of FPS. Rage is interesting me for its wild fast paced gameplay and metro for its atmospheric cinematic setting.

Considering CDPR's last game is the 2nd best game this gen I kinda doubt it's just media hype.

It was just overrated. critics overrate it and gave it 10/10s while ignoring games awful combat, awful controls, long and boring dilaouges, some boring quest, travelling from point A to Point B.

They're a talented, respected, incredibly capable company.

Hype is more deserved in this case than if, say, EA was making Cyberpunk. Then it would be a big company.

CDPR being a small company is also why their games take a while to make; they're crafting their games, not simply producing them.

It´s not really a competition, Metro is a pure story-driven SP game, where Rage is a cheaper "borderlands" clone.

Rage 2 is SP game. and looks much better than borlderlands ever been.

They both look like good but very different games. I'll go with Metro because it's more down my street, being grittier and more realistic but I'm looking forward to Rage 2 just as much.

I disagree. They stated that they will be showing gameplay demo at Gamescom this year; in August. Fall 2019 release date.

I imagine Rage will be more the fast paced gratuitous shooter while Metro will be more stealth, survival, and narrative focused. More excited for Metro but excited for Rage too. Does it matter which is better? I want to play both.

Metro Exodus looks fantastic, its definitely more my type of game than Rage. Though I was pleasantly surprised by how fun Rage 2 looked in the trailer.

Both look cool, but I'm a big Metro fan.

Right; well proven the track record of CD Projekt Red there is a pretty good chance this game will be a good game. Cause I'm sure Stalker 2 doesn't need to show gameplay to be considered good right? I'm sure Doom Eternal doesn't have to show gameplay for YOU to think it'll be good right?

no cdproject is just better develop than some russian develop in their bunker that make cinematic cod zombie game. metro is movie game in first person.

LOL witcher 3 has longer cinematic than both Metro games. so many long dialogues plus cutscenes.

it also has open world and 100 hours of 10/10 quests and so muych stuff to do.

metro is good game im not saying its bad but i played thru metro in 13 hours and did everything.

No. You're in the minority because many of us like the branching in an RPG that includes characterization parts like romance. It makes a game world more alive when done well and CDPR have proven they do detailed worlds well. I don't want my RPGs to be just "put XP points in slots, pick augs, go kill or stealth". And it would seem many others do not want them to be that bare bones either.

You're tastes are well known on this board. You are entitled and there is no Good taste or bad taste. There are differing tastes. I do not share yours too often and definitely have a broader pallet.
