Nintendo ans Sega, then Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo and Sega are tied. I grew up on them. Microsoft and Sony are tied as well. The PSP and the PS3 were both let-downs to me, but that doesn't distract from the greatness of previous systems. As for Microsoft, they have never given me anything to complain about. I love my Xbox, I use Windows, and I will be getting a Zune and a 360.
I know atari wasnt in the list, but I loved the 2600 when it came out, and my first (and still best) handheld is the Lynx. Nintendo is just a big letdow since the GBA came out. I am thinking about getting an NES and an SNES to add to my collection, but I find the Gamecube, Wii, and DS to be designed for small children.
I'm curious as to why anyone would like a particular company more than another. Or is this saying how much you like the company's products? Because basically they all are billion dollar companies and the goal is the same for each of them: make more money. And unless you live in fantasy land, there's no such thing as moral purity in big business.
I could care less about the companies, and I only like their products, so I can't rate their logos, or CEOs, or whatever.
I do like the fact that Microsoft is an American company though.
I dont neccesarily mean their systems, i'm saying them as a company as a whole.

i hate them all lol but i'd go sony (ps2)(the ps3 sucks idk why i bought it) microsoft (xbox sucks) (360 looks pretty sweet) nintendo(wii's a gimmck a lot of the games it has are on the ps2) sega ( why is it still around ?)

Sony (somewhat ignorant, but they pump out quality stereos and tv's.)
Sega (horrible consoles, horrible games, their lead video game character is constantly failing [sonic])

did you really own a gcn? i wouldnt say that consumers come first to nintendo at all. after abandoning their console over a year before the wii was released and screwing the gcn zelda in favor of the wii's, id have to say that they never think of the consumer. and dont make me bring up super paper mario.

Well then I guess that makes sense. I like Microsofts products the most. They are the ones that I use the most day to day and pretty damn reliable in that respect.
I only like Nintendo really. They stick to what works.
Sega... well crashed and burned, they are just clinging to life through software. I don't have anything against Sega other than that they got pummelled into the ground.
Microsoft has the OS that the majority of people are forced to use despite it being full of holes. They just released Vista which a majority of computers can't even run properly yet. They do a lot of things, but overall are pretty sloppy.
Sony had exploding laptop batteries and is trying to force Blu-Ray on everyone though the PS3 (which was a really stupid move IMHO which might end up costing them the console wars).
