Oh, wait, Battlefield managed 32 player online on the original Xbox. Not to mention games that are planing 40 player + matches for the 360. Do some actual research before you toss junk on here.

Some games will have servers. It depends on if the developers want to spend the money to set them up and keep them going. Player/servers will become much more common, especially since its cheaper, and internet speeds keep increasing.
