67 tflop and all of that powa of the cell will be spent on remasters and remakes. At least Xbox will provide Sony with some much needed games.
Once it releases, Sony can finally brag about having the more powerful console. Too bad they got demolished by the Xbox series X for 4 years in a row. With all the best looking console games being on Xbox.

Ah so now you're making excuses, but, but people buy a PS5 for third party. And if EVERYONE bought a Switch for Nintendo games only then why are there NO Nintendo first party games with a 100% attachment rate or even close to 100%?
Dude you cows don't buy as many games as you think you do, that's why there are many reports about Sony trying to manage its spending on big budget games because they don't sell enough to make a big enough profit to continue on its current trajectory, hence it's pivot to all the live service stuff and no SP game from Sony until sometime next year.
All this because cows don't buy enough games from Sony, you and your fellow cows better start buying 2 copies of each of Sony's games.
Just to reiterate, a remaster of a racing/vehicular combat game has outsold ALL of Sony's first party PS5 only games, not only outsold, but 3:1 and that's just 1 game against 4. Proof that cows don't buy as many games as they think they do.
So, if its 33tf which is more than 3x as powerful as the og PS5 and the PS5 is what currently $500-$550 not only that but they made 2 revisions of the PS5 using cheaper parts and still didn't drop the price, and yet you expect a rumoured 33tf machine to be around $600-$700 when all Sony has done is raise prices on everything this gen.
Sony hasn't had a single game this gen that warrants this.

Underwhelming raw performance boost given the time that has passed since PS5 launched. The addition of AI assisted rendering is much needed though. This bodes well for future AMD GPUs on PC too. FSR just isn't good enough compared to DLSS due to the lack of AI processing.
From what I've read RDNA 4 is suppose to have dedicated AI processors like Tensor cores. So we may see FSR get an AI assisted upscaling/frame gen with RDNA 4 onward. RDNA 3 uses WMMA instructions for AI on their compute unit's.
I never bought a Pro version before, if I didn't have a PS5, I would probably not given how it was difficult to get a PS5. Plus I don't think any games would take advantage of the system.
Not really. 3 x 1 is still a 3. Because the current RT is as welfare as it can be, three times the welfareness ain't saying much. Not to mention that RT mode will always be in 30fps, so its an irrelevant mode for anything but taking screenshots.
If Sony could actually slim down the machine and not make it look fugly then maybe that in of itself would warrant replacing my existing PS5 which is a total eye sore. A midgen refresh seems unnecessary in this lackluster generation though.

For these specs I wonder what the price point will be.
If they drop the price of the standard ps5, i see it being $500. If ps5 doesn't drop in price, which is mostly likely what will happen, i see it being sold for $599.

A 10% boost in CPU power is quite pitiful. X1X managed 31% which meant many titles could be enhanced to up the frame rate or display 4K. Not sure what the point of the pro is this gen.

33.5 is way higher than I thought. I’m assuming we can compare the 10 TF PS5 and 12 TF series X(and 4 TF S) to this number? I’d imagine a lot of series S owners may make the jump to PS5 Pro unless Xbox decides to make another console. The people complaining about this are probably the same people who drop more than this console costs on a GPU every other year. I drop $1000 on a new phone every 3 years with marginal improvements without hesitation so this doesn’t seem all that bad. But I probably won’t get this because I barely game anymore.
