PS5 controller only has a 2 hour battery life

Wanna use the new haptic feed back in the PS5 controller? Gonna cost you battery life. Games that use the haptic triggers extensively like Astro Game Room will only give you a battery life of 2 hours.

I thought the PS4 controller battery life was pathetic. This is awful.

I hope you can turn that shit off. If not, that seems like a huge accessibility oversight. I have carpal tunnel so I really don't like tactile feedback in controllers.

5-6 seems to be the consensus on the web so far on the most haptic feedback intensive games. I can’t tell if that’s worth it or not until I get my hands on the controllers and games. But everyone that’s experienced the PS5 controller is raving about it. Even Jeff Gertsmann. And that dude doesn’t like anything

Sony already post a video about how to turn off haptic feedback so is not something people should be concern about.

I always kept my duelshock 4 plugged in so duelsense plugged in isn’t much of a problem for me.

As someone whose first game was pong, I prefer wired 99% of the time because that is what I’m use to.

I expect 3 hours. I only get 3 1/2 hours with my 6-7 year old DS4 but that's with earbuds on.

Two hour battery, can't use external storage for PS5 games, PS5s are overheating, Miles Morales gets a generous 7, Godfall gets exposed as timed exclusive, load times barely better than Series X... damn, how much worse can it get?

At least on here you can have conversations and have fun at others expense, can't do that watching Youtubers. Games are fun and you can play co-op (you're a cow so i'll explain that to you later lol) with friends in a party of couch co-op, so that's having fun.
