All digital content? What does that entail? I somehow don't believe it means digital games, I mean they have already said no backwards compatability.

PS3 and PS4 architectures are too different to offer any backward compatibility out of the box.

And who is Game Basildon anyway?

Basilidon is a town in Essex I believe (London area), and GAME is the retail chain.

I'm skeptical and will wait for a better source but awesome if true. I think it might just be any games that have a PS4 version that were on the PS3's PSN could be carried over or maybe upgraded like Flower or hopefully titles like FIFA 14. I'd be surprised if GTA 5 etc worked.

Hmm, I hope not. Gaikai isn't even going to be seen in Europe probably until 2015.

They might mean themes, songs, movies and other non-game related content.

Yeah... that would make sense. Hell, Microsoft said movies and music you purchased would carry over. But not games. If games were going to work, make no mistake: we would hear about it straight from the horse's mouth in capital letters.

Digital content is very vague. Theres digital content that gets carried over from 360 to XOne as well

#2 "Digital content" has been used by Sony in the past and it's always in reference to movie, music, and tv shows.

Possible but why a gaming company bother tweeting about that sort of stuff unless it's referring to game content? Unless someone's got the complete wrong end of the stick at Game.

It may not mean PS3 digital games or indie games for it, but what about PS1 or PS2 games you can get from PSN?
