I don't "think" anything about it... I KNOW it is a waste of money and time. Known it since the day it was announced.

It's good, but still far from its potential. I plan on using it more on Killzone 3 as well as SOCOM 4. I bought Tumble, which I still haven't played and I've had fun using it on Dead Space: Extraction. So far, not a loss to me. Although I agree that there hasn't really been a Move exclusive "killer app" yet.

A waste of time and money. Even Sony's CEO was hating on motion controls in a recent interview as if he's forgotten they even made it.

Tiger Woods 12: The Masters.

Finally the PS3 version is superior. Honestly that's the biggest game i've had in mind since I got the Move and I'm quite pleased to be past the point of having to consider the Wii version over the others. (got it for Wii last year).

Honestly that Golf sim and a decent Tennis game are the main things I hoped for out of my Move. I could care less about the rest of the mini game and casual stuff that was sure to follow. Although I really should get to playing Killzone 3 and some others with it as well, if not just to check it out as an alternate control scheme.

For me the Move is a nice little add-in peripheral. LIke a steering wheel. Nothing more. But I'm quite happy with that and I hope they keep it around next gen if not just for sports games.

I dont own it yet, mainly because it has yet to reach its full potential.

I might get the Socom bundle that comes with the full Move bundle plus the rifle and nav controller though. It seems like a really good value.

Its awesome, I had it on the first day it was released. Don't believe the haters who claims its just another Wiimote, because its much better. Its more accurate, feels comfortable in the hands (Wiimote feels a brick in comparison), and the light makes look cool.

I like it. I don't use it to replace my Dualshock of course, but it's a fun alternative. I like pulling out the sharpshooter once and a while and killing some Helghast, or shoot some hoops in 2K11. I agree though that it needs better games, and not just support in games like Killzone 3 and Socom 4.

Has support in a decent amount of games. Not really anything killer for which it is absolutely essential, though. It's a decent peripheral, but more of an add-on to existing stuff than a seperate library.

Better than I can say of Kinect, though...

It's not very interesting to me, and the Kevin Butler commercials advertising it made me feel like he was actually making fun of it. Made me think they're not serious about selling it. And then their CEO talking trash about motion controllers. I don't think they fully believe in their product. If they don't believe in their own product, then I'm not going to give it the time of day. If they want us to buy it, they need to show they at least give a time and try to release a diverse catalog of games that use it. Otherwise, pass.

A few more interesting games and I'll be tempted to buy. Right now I'd be interested in trying Move with Killzone 3, Heavy Rain, Dead Space Extraction, Tiger Woods 12 and the upcoming Socom. What ever happened to No More Heroes and what exactly do you control in NBA 2K11?

Was on my Christmas wishlist, but it was sold out so I got a giftcard instead, which I instead used to purchase other things. Not unlike Kinect there's just not enough stuff that interests me. There's always the factor of of "oooh, cool new technology", but beyond that novelty... Though unlike the Kinect I think the price can go low enough for a purchase to happen anyway at some point, even if things don't improve.

markinthedark

It's definitely different...and I don't mean that in a bad way. Playing with it I feel like I don't do as well as with the Dualshock. But then the match ends and I find that my KDR is better than I though it was. Hell, better than it is with the Dualshock. Quick-aiming is easier to do and once you become accustomed to the feel of playing with it (after tweaking all your settings till it feels good), it's definitely a lot of fun. I do agree that getting kills with it is somehow more satisfying.

I definitely find it to be a sort of missing link between dual-analog and the mouse. The only problem it seems is that it's a little TOO sensitive. I'm sure I could change some settings and adjust it, but scoping in with long distance weapons requires a very steady hand. The Sharpshooter, however, remedies this. Being able to use 2 hands definitely helps. It just takes some getting used to tilting the gun to turn, but it's a very welcome addition as far as peripherals go.

SOCOM 4 with the Move has been good, too. I haven't played enough of MAG with it to get a good feel, but Zipper's implementation gives you plenty of options to work with. All I know is that I don't pull run-by strafing headshots with hipfire out of my ass using the Dualshock. :P

Not really the reason for the lack of success is how late it's coming out in the lifespan of the PS3. Motion controls are here to stay, they will come packed with the PS4 along with a normal controller.

Agreed. I think the focus will be less on providing "casual" and "hardcore" games and more on uniting gamers from both camps by accommodating their control preferences. This way great gaming experiences won't be lost on those who find standard controllers too daunting. Granted, there will still be shovelware, but hasn't there always been?

Besides, consoles are gonna need more ways to differentiate themselves from the PC. Motion controls across the board would be a good start.

I think it's the best technology currently on the market for "motion" gaming. It provides the most variety and precision with the PS Eye + Move-mote (augmented reality, tactile feedback, 1:1 movement). I haven't gotten it yet, but I may with the SOCOM 4 Full Deployment Edition.

There are games out now that I want to play alone, and with my family, with more on the horizon.

It really came out far too late in the generation, but then again I'm suprised Kinect is garnering any sales at all either. It used to be peripherals were doomed unless they came out within the first year of a consoles life-span in general. It's sucess depends on wether developers give it some good games to use it with that are outside of Sony's control.
