More than the color staturation and contrast difference (which maybe possibly be a setting issue for the ps3?). The xbox version is sharper and more detailed.

*Gets out magnifying glass* Hmmm, yes the PS3 version does look washed out in comparison. Maybe they have the RGB colour range set to Limited instead of Full.Floppy_Jim
This may be it as my PS3 version looks akin to the 360 version in that video. Or maybe I'm crazy.
Just looks so me as they forgot to adjust the black level when playing the PS3 version, as it's set way too high. You need use different calibrations setting for the 360 and PS3 for both of them to look their best.

Figure 1 How black level (brightness) control affects image details.
Too high black level washes out shadows and lowers image contrast.
Normal black level setup ZimpanX
I will just go ahead and post what I said about this in the 360 forum.

Hey, do you know where you go on the PS3 to adjust those settings. I don't think it's in visual.

[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]Hmm, not exactly surprising. The majority of multiplats are slightly better on 360. That's not to mean the PS3 versions are bad, though.signorena na na na na na na na fan boy! na na na na na na na fanboy! both games are identical... this is pathetic
You're the one that said 360 was practically useless and had no good games. Pot meet kettle. *shakes hands*

lol pwnt. Why didnt GS, IGN, 1UP, and many other gaming review sites and mags not point out noticable graphical differences between both versions?
When a PS3 version is a subpar port of a 360 multiplat game, these sites always mention it.
This video comparison could of have been made to make the 360 look better.
As shown by the black levels post above, there is a very similar thread in the 360 forum, ill just repost what I said:
Dunno what video some of you were watching but, other than the black levels (either not calibrated for PS3 or they still have the limited RGB setting on), the games lookalmost identical, the only noticable difference to me was that the shadow work on the PS3 was marginally better. Thats best demonstrated in the scene looking at the desert temple: the shadows are much better under the stairs/ledges; and looking at the shadow of the prince in the snowy area: slightly more realistic shadow.
Feel free to point out an area in the video where you think the ps3 looks worse (which isnt accounted for by the black levels), although having watched the video a few times I cant see any.

Wow, the desert scene, the grass on the PS3 looks like blobs, and the stair and wall textures are fadded... did they render the PS3 version in a lower resolution or something? I mean, that's besides the washed out look of the PS3 version.it appears that the x360 version was taken from a high quality display and the ps3 version was taken from a ten year old tv that is ready to be taken to the landfill on monday.
My friend rented that game and the colors looked very vibrant and brightness was fine, its obvious that the site is biased to the roof, i mean, why would that site create a comparison if it didnt have a purpose, could it be for hits and fame? nobody will know.
Not to shocking most 360 multiplats are better then the PS3.rybe1025Did you watch the vid? There's no electron microscope necessary on my end. I can clearly see that the 360 version is more colorful. Which is a big pro for a game with this artstyle IMO.

i cant belive people are still doing this sort of thing.
why should it matter that one versions looks a tad bit better(or different) than another?

If you mean a little darker then yes,but they look the same besides that.

Even if some people are saying that they do not have that washed out look, that doesn't explain why the PS3 version is clearly blurrier.wapahala
Setting Limited to Full makes it look alot better, seems they forget to use it
And the shadows look abit darker on the ps3 then it is on the 360 on my tv. Strange that it is the otherway around on the vid

But it doesnt have anything to do with the resolution. My point is that the PS3 version looks blurrier.
