I think that the Playstation systems, warts and all, are AWESOME with a capital A.
What about you?

Good, if you mean good as in quality then not much beats them. Good as in power sure, too close to the xbox to find any differences, ports are not the PS3s fault, just massively different you either get a slightly worse port on ps3 or write the whole game twice...JohnF111if we go by power then it's usually hit and miss. the PS1 and PS2 weren't exactly the most powerfull systems around. And then there's that useless thing called the pocket station
anyway my vote is good
I loved the PS1 and 2. I hate the PSP. I've yet to even touch a PS3 controller.vashkey
the PSP has given me nothing but trouble, first the UMD reader stops functioning, I had to pay to get it fixed, now my "X" button gives very little resistance and my battery doesn't even last me an hour
You'll usually get your monies worth with a Playstation system. I've gotten all the Playstation platforms and I haven't been disappointed yet.

I forgot all about that Square button problem people use to have with the early PSP units. Mine had a little resistance too, but it still worked. I forgot about it since I hadn't even played a game on my PSP since the summer of 2008. In fact, I just sold the thing last month. Even worse than the Gamecube.Remember how some of the early units use to launch the UMD out when you ejected?
They're fine. I find the PS3 to be the weakest of all of them (which is understandable) but they're all good systems.
Dont see why they would be bad. All my Playstation consoles never broke down and I'm on the first unit each generation. I never had to buy another one or send to be be repaired. Plus each system has one of the best (if not the best) game selection in their gen
who in god's name voted bad? I can get the PS3, or the PS2, or the PSX, but all 3? They're all to different to think the whole brand is bad!
Bad
I don't see any big standouts on any of their platforms, and I've never enjoyed any of their hyped up exclusives.
bad.
playstation is nothing but hype and paying off 3rd parties.

I have just the thing for you two: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/home.php?union_id=CORE http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/home.php?union_id=YAASU http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/home.php?union_id=PHU http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/home.php?union_id=W60 http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=24988203&union_id=4621Every single PS system is awesome, with the possible exception of the PSP GO.locopathoPSP Go's a great system. It just costs a lot (and justifiably so). You're getting the best display out of any of the models, the best buttons, bluetooth, faster transfer speeds, 16GB of internal memory (a $60+ value), a more compact system, a "quick-save" feature and 3 games ($85 value) for the cost of a 3000 bundle (or $50 more depending on where you shop). How exactly is that bad?
OT: I can't find a reason not to like any of them, so good.

Maybe I'm a little prejudice because a PS1 was my first console (Talk about a FANTASTIC 8th birthday, no other birthday could ever compare in awesomeness), but I love playstation consoles. When you play with them, they just feel high quality. They feel durable. I don't get that same feeling with other consoles.
When you feel anything else, it feels great, definitely not cheap, but it just isn't the same. Theres not much that compares.

You could count the good games on the N64 on one hand... And still have 4 fingers left :PNeoGeo, Sega Genesis, Vectrex, SNES, ect. are all far more desirable systems, imo.
