Playstation 4s locking up at Gamestop and across the nation

There's been numerous reports of PS4 locking up, freezing from many different outlets. Sony should really address this issue before it gets out of control.

This is one good thing about the US getting the console first. We get to see if the system has any issues before it's released elsewhere :P

As I said. The system is fine. There is a bug is the OS or in the demo's.

It's just a matter of time before the update is out to fix it. A simple reboot is all it takes.

It happened to me while playing knack at GameStop. Just got stuck in a loop. No problems with the ds4 being recognized. I still have ps4 pre-ordered and not worried about issues with demo units. Sony should have tested them out better.

I just got an email saying that they will send a sony rep to sit with me while I get my ps4 on nov 15th to make sure the experience goes well? Anyone else get this?

gamers shouldn't be worried but it is a problem with Sony product ambassadors trying to show off the console and instead giving the consumers at large the wrong impression, and that's something that shouldn't be happening

It took like almost 3 mins just to get into the Knack demo when I tried it. Not sure why it's so slow loading a game.

I went to my local target and the Xbox one wasn't even plugged in guys!!!!!!!!!!!! It's KRAZYYYYYYYYYYYY. Is this the power of the cloud MS and lemmings have talked so fondly about? I don't even need to plug in my system. ! No way it can overheat if it's not even plugged in!

It was hilarious today when i went back to check to see if the ps4 kiosk was still having its issues. One of the best buy clerks came up to me and was practically jumping with excitement about the system. He was showing me some stuff on the ps4 and it bricked.. i couldn't help but laugh a little. He did say it's been repeatedly happening since they got the kiosk set up and blamed whoever set it up that the cables weren't connected right or something. That must be the problem across the country then.. poor connecting of the cables by all the employees!

Someone said those are fake PS4s in those cases. So its not that. PS4 just has overheating issues.

Went to a gamestop N played knack. Just slow loading time and game was ok. Bout a 7. Controller I was expecting more, doesnt compare to xbox one controller.

Cows. Fans, rubber feet, and vinyl tape to cover the lightbar that cant be turned off on the controller and your set. No wonder its a 100 dollar less lol

As much as I hate to side with cows these days, lockups dont really mean much of anything. Especially since these kiosks are probably running modified software from the normal console. But lockups occur on any console, and buggy software can always be patched.

If hardware failures start becoming common, that could be an issue.
