Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 Elite?

Hi everyone. I am thirteen and was wondering which is better a 360 Elite for €295 with Fifa 10, Forza 3 and Halo 3 ODST with two controllers, or a PS3 with one game and one controllwe for €325. I have heard rumours that the 360 has some technical issues. Any advice? Thanks

Go with the 360 elite since it's cheaper, they are about equal in my eyes as far as value.

I'd say the PS3 considering it has built in WiFi, free online, internet browser and can play Blu-Ray. Plus I think it has better games, too. :P

But it's entirely up to you.

360 is the way better deal for you.

PS3 by far, 360 is gonna end up costing more then that, and it's been living off multiplats, the PS3 has been burning it up with amazing games winning awards left and right. Go for the best, get the PS3.

Get the 360, dont worry all those technical Issues (RROD) have been corrected with the new models :D

Dont get me wronf PS3 is still a great system but maybe you should wait a little longer on buying it

Socks disappear into a tiny compartment at the back of the washing machine which is invisible to human eyes. They are then collected by the sock fairies and taken to never never land. This is why you always only have one sock left from the original pair.

On topic. I have a 360 and a friends ps3 at my house. I prefer my 360 mostly because the controller and live are far superior IMO.

If you have internet then I'd go with PS3 because the online will be free. As for the RROD problem being fixed, I'd take that with a grain of salt. My elite lasted 5 months before I had to send it in for repair. Sure it may seem like a better deal to go 360 upfront but when you consider paying in order to play online and buying a wireless adapter if you want wireless then it starts to be more expensive in the long run. I'd get a PS3 hands down but do some research and make your own decision.

well in all due honestly I constantly use my 360 for online rather than my ps3(which is free btw) for some reason, maybe because its a little better

True, but there is also a psychological need to use what has been paid for. I'm not saying that's your case or mine, but I've spoken to people that feel they need to get the most out of their GOLD Service even as a gift, because they can feel the time on the clock running out.

I realize that it's a better service, and I have gold, but when I compare my experience with games like RE5 or MW2, it's not so different. The big difference is cross game chat for me. That's really it. When I play on PS3, I cross text chat, and then once we are in the same game, we chat away.

It's like anything with a subscription, users want their money's worth so to speak. It's something that should be factored, that's all I'm saying. People don't even think about that aspect of subscriptions (whether it's magazine, Cable, Satellite, Xbox Live, etc.)

360 if you're prepared to put up with yearly fees of XBL.

PS3 if you want a system that can double as a bluray player.

If you can only have 1 console then i suggest you get a 360, it has a hell of a lot more games.G-O-M-J

LOL, I guess thats one way to look at it but when you compare quality games the PS3 has the upper hand.

The PlayStation is a much better system IMO, but in this situation, the Xbox is a much, much, much better deal.

The Elite is the far better deal right there. So would be a brilliant way to start of your HD gaming.

However does the 360 have the games you like? Obviously most the games you want are multiplatform so that's nto an issue, but you should go with whichever console has the most games you want, and whichever console your friends have, as gaming with friends is always better then by yourself.

If you can afford XBL than get a Xbox , if you can't get a PS3. If you don't have high speed internet then get a Wii or just save your money.

I say PS3 cuz I prefer it more than my 360 well but its up to you and the games which you want to play.

360 if you are gonna play online, PS3 if you aren't

I love how PS3 guys just add the Wifi cost into the Xbox 360 cost as if everyone is gonna need that. I don't even use the Wifi on my PS3.

To me,

This situation is more of a choice of smart vs. wise.

XBOX 360 is a bit older hardware, less expensive up front, more games on purchase, and possibly more "issue" tendencies. that = smart buy.

PS3 is newer, more advanced hardware, more expensive up front, you'll get less games on purchase, more reliable. that = wise buy.

I know I have my own idea on which is better (smart vs wise), but people have their own thoughts. You'll need to decide for yourself.
