Phil spencer: 'one of my most anticipated coming to bc in the next few weeks' (quoted from twitter)

There has been a steady flow from bc titles lately with more games added almost every week. A lot of times one of them is a big title, this week darksiders for instance. Still, some of the games I really want don't seem to show up so I do wonder what phil's anticipated title is. He also mentioned that it's not going to be black ops 2.

The games I want the most are fight night champion, kingdoms of amulur and dragon's dogma. Red dead redemption, mass effect 3 and gta IV was on that list too. What games are on your bc wishlist and if you have any idea what game phil spencer is referring to to, feel free to inform us.

Also, it must really suck to not have a bc option on your console.

It's not as bad as not having new games.

I'm liking this gen right now and I feel like it's finally picking up. Therefore, I don't really miss older games or have any interest in replaying them. It should be a red flag, though, if a BC title from last gen is something for Xbox owners to be excited for.

On the Xbone, yes they are using their new next generation console to play BC games 4 years years into its life cycle. What else is there to look forward to than backwards on the bone?

sure playstation exclusives sell 4 million copies at best (uncharted 4), I play fifa, which sells a lot better.

This is a silly argument. You can be on this forum and play games. Doesn't matter what your brand preference is. You're just trying to divert away from the fact that MS is trying to hype a last gen game for their current gen console as opposed to a new game. In the middle of a blitz of new game releases by Sony and Nintendo releasing a new console with BOTW.

All the Xbone has is BC and a 4k bluray player. What a gaming console.

I actually wish I could play Fight Night Champions on my PS4. They haven't made a big Boxing Sim since that game 6 years ago.

Uncharted 4 sold close to 9 million by the end of last year.

you always come up with same void arguments as well, that xboxone has no games, while fifa and especially fifa ultimate team is the biggest business in console gaming. Not to mention the other xbox exclusives.

I know Phantom Dust is coming to Xbox One, and that's been a project Phil Spencer himself has specifically made a passion side project, and last I heard it's to bean enhanced emulation of the original game; this approach actually interests me because if they develop the ability to emulate original Xbox games, then I'd cross my fingers and hope someone out there pushes for the release of Panzer Dragoon Orta.

One thing I wish Microsoft would work out is that there were many games for Xbox 360 that never released digitally, but they add to the BC catalog, but they don't have a digital buy option; I wish they'd work to get these available digitally. For instance, Mass Effect 2 & 3 were never offered digitally to buy on the Xbox 360, but they're available to EA Access members. I currently have EA Access and wish to keep subscribing, but if given an option to buy these games, or maybe Dead Space 2 & 3 should they offer those, I'd totally jump on it; but, they were never offered digitally on the Xbox 360 store, so that can't happen. Other games, like Doom 3: BFG edition, also released without a digital buy option, and I'd totally wish they'd work to get a digital option out there so people can buy it.

It's one of the top selling games this gen so if that's not very good then the whole industry is pathetic except for maybe Wii Sports and GTA.

I guess when you have no games BC is a big deal. I still have my PS3 and I haven't turned it on in more than a year because PS4 is getting a steady stream of games and I don't feel the urge to go back to last gen. It's nice to have games on your current system.

@lamprey263: lol yeah some games on that list interest me too, but I kinda chose the ones I want the most. I don't really have a problem with games that you can't buy digitally, we have second hand shops close by. Like I went out and bought mass effect 3 ( I don't want to subscibe to ea access, allthough it's a nice feature if you play a lot of ea games).

The xbox360 already have some sort of emulator for xbox original games so it shouldn't be that hard to make that work on the xboxone and upcoming scorpio.

Ya, I packed away all my last gen games. Packed away my OG PS3 60GB too and use the slim for BD only.

Yup I have my slim in my closet. Don't even use Blurays that much anyway. And when I do, I use my PS4.

The more BC games the better. It's the future of console gaming anyway so hats off to Microsoft for pushing this, hopefully others will follow

IMO BC is a great feature on console because you don't need to keep the old hardware. I wish the ps4 had this feature because my ps3 is dead and there are great games I can't play anymore unless (unless I buy a used one or pay for the streaming service argh).

If Playstation would do BC it would greatly improve their platform. The failure to support BC and lack of HD blu-ray support are the only missteps from Sony this gen.

@commander: Kingdoms of amalur, Ninja Gaiden 2 are at the top of my list. I figure the crackdowns are being held until close to C3 launch.

I disagree with that. MS doesn't hype BC all that much. They do make a press release of what is new in the list, but hype? You're really reaching with that. I use BC consistently because TLG was boring drek, Grav Rush 2 not for me, Nier is weirdo Japanime stuff that isn't for me.

I'm enjoying Horizon, I will get back to Nioh but I did stop playing it when I got Horizon.

Halo Wars 2 is great fun. Blitz mode is fast, fun and full of players. On SW scores matter but in life fun does. Mass Effect is also taking my attention.

But I do play The Orange Box, RDR, I played all of the Mass Effect trilogy before Andromeda came out thanks to BC. Its a feature that many of us enjoy because we love games. And games aren't defined by what reviewers currently score.

This is what I'm referring to. He mentions that a game coming is one of his most anticipated bc title. It's coming in a few weeks. He doesn't name this game. He's teasing that this bc is going to be a good one. This is hype. Getting people pumped for this mystery title. I don't think I was reaching at all.

I have played most except some of the Japanese games and really there not that great. My favorite how ever is Horizon, but once is enough. Halo Wars 2 I will be playing several times, great fun game!

Must be nice playing old games while other platforms getting new exclusives.
