People hating on Deathloop is incredibly ironic

This game tries new things and is quite unique. No AAA or AA game out there is quite like it and is getting rave reviews. Yet it's getting dumped on by the usual suspects, who celebrate Spider-Man 2 for being superhero open-world game #388484.

There's a reason most studios churn out the same crap over and over again without bothering to try new stuff. The reception of Deathloop among a sizeable portion of gamers (most who never even touched it) is telling.

Currently has mixed reviews on Steam. That's from verified players who have no reason to hate on the game for being owned by Microsoft like the broke butthurt lemmings around here have tried to convince themselves the hate is coming from. Explain that one TC.

Just face it. The game looks boring and bad. It will be forgotten in a week. It will bomb in sales and never get a sequel. Any journalist who gave it a 10 should be barred from ever reviewing video games again.

Mixed reviews seem to be largely attributed to performance issues due to Denuvo. I'm indifferent to the game, but stop the spin.

Deathloop is a multiplat and the best version is getting mixed reviews. Try harder, kiddo.

Got a good deal from from Best Buy on the PS5 version. $10 certificate + Steelbook + bonus DLC + 10% off + 5% back on my credit card. Game is coming in tomorrow!

It's a great game, sadly it is plagued by really bad performance issues. All good, they will iron it out. Hopefully remove Denuvo, but not likely.

A shame; it's getting a lot of bad reviews on Steam that echo my feelings of "good game but bad performance" and I don't blame them for not recommending.

Apparently. I'll be picking it up when cheaper, so hopefully they just scrap Denuvo.

If you take the stance that PS5/PC games aren't exclusive, than there's barely any exclusives on the PS5, because most of them are on the PS4. And exclusives are REAL important to cows. Is this a dilemma for you?

Deathloser does nothing new, it literally takes gameplay from Dishonored and adds Roguelite elements does not make it something new.

Bethesda has always use Denuvo, so this shouldn't surprise anyone, and the reviews over on Steam are understandable.
