One month away from next gen! What are your launch plans?

I already have my PS5 preorder in along with games. As far as I know, I should be getting it at release. Hopefully there won't be any delays. I'm also taking a week off to enjoy my new console! It should be cool. How about you, SW? What are your next gen launch plans? Or will you be boring and continue playing last gen? Womp womp 😁

I was going to make a thread like this as well haha. I already have a few days off work so when I pick up my preorder I have plenty of time to get it setup and play some brand new games. I already have a stash of snacks and energy drinks, probably grab a case of beer and just have a relaxing chill few days with my new purchase.

Launch plans? There isn't any. I am not even sure OP "launch plan" is a plan to begin with.😅

I'm hoping to get one 3rd wave. I'll probably play Spiderman MM first since it's gonna be a short game compared to Cyberpunk and DemonSouls

Not sure why this is even a thing. Nothing game breaking and launch games are meh. Cyberpunk is the only thing I'm anticipating in the near and somewhat distant future.

I already had 4 days off when it launches so I'm set there. I currently am planning to get the following:

• AC Valhalla (preordered)
• Spiderman MM Ultimate (preordered)
• Destiny Beyond Light

I'm planning to preorder the Destiny expansion for the ghost skin. Looks pretty cool.

Nothing for launch console. need to get the ol PC back up and running so console plans are scrapped for this year. at this stage i think i will wait for GT7 and get a PS5 and a bunch of games then.

I plan to get a ryzen 5900X and 32GB ram with an X570 mobo this year as my current PCs mobo and/or CPU died (worst possible time for it too).

the GPU is up in the air. performance wise i am looking for something around the 3080. i am looking to see what AMD have and what 3rd parties make of both GPUs before making a decision. My vega 64 still has some fight left in it so i can wait till next year to get a new GPU.

I'm anticipating Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok. So nothing in 2020 for me :)

Demon Souls. Playing that from beginning to end first. Then Spiderman remaster and Miles afterwards. Then I'll play my PS4 version of DOOM: Eternal and see if there's any benefits to the Boot" feature they were talking about earlier this week.

I'll buy a Xbox Series X and PS5 DE whenever I can find them either online or in stores, but I have no problem playing current systems until I do. I fully expect to play Cyberpunk on the One X first.

My plan is to hopefully have it delivered to me and play some Demon's Souls.

Keep working on my PS3 backlog :)

lol, Canada Computers this time. Only place that's taking back-orders, so i'm guaranteed with the next shipment of my model. Dude also tried selling me on the warranty due to the "capacitors" like it doesn't come with a 3-year warranty. Lemon.

Watercooled AIO 3080(20 GB model maybe?) and Cyberpunk. That is all.

I'll continue to enjoy my RTX 3080 and will be getting a PS5 as well.

My PS5 preorder is set to arrive Nov. 30, however, I am seriously considering cancelling it, as there really aren't any launch games I'm interested in, at least until Ratchet and Clank comes out. I think my reluctance to cancel it comes from FOMO more than anything.

Yea, Im in no hurry to get one either.

Maybe if there was a killer RPG or something Id settle for the white one but as of now im fine waiting.

My plan is to play Miles Morales on launch, maybe Demon's Souls and try out some PS4 games too.

Edit: Looks like I'm not doing that on launch. The store I used couldn't deliver, getting the system maybe sometime next year (Jan-Mar) lol. Welp, don't have to think about that now for a while :P

I'm not going to buy any next-gen console until I finish my current backlog which will take me around a year to do it, so I will be just watching things from here

I'm still trying to get my hands on a 3080FE but im SOOL now because Nvidia are letting best buy sell them and no supplier in the UK. At this point im probably better off waiting for the TI/Super variants.
