OMG!!!WTF!!!my xbox360!!!

i never played my x360 since last friday....today my friend came to my place to play some Halo3. I powerup my x360 and everything was fine....then i load the game, the game hangs at the menu screen. So i tot hang no big deal. I push the restart button and next thing i know is 3 RED LIGHT OF DEATH on my x360!!!! OMG, i haven even finish bluedragon, and was looking forward for Masseffect!!! I am so sad and piss now!!!!

Wtf is the cause of this to happen?? my x360 is not over heat or anything. I assume my x360 is like a timebomb and was waiting for this to happen....so what should i do now??? errr...so pissesd!

Aliens and dust mites came from outerspace to zap the secret energy in the power brick. This renders the 360 useless but helps the alien life forms to prosper. Relax, your 360 did a good deed and saved billions of lives.... :shock:

nah not all of them are fake, RROD is barely a case though tbh, theres only been 3-4 people on my friends list whos 360 have died, overheating is not a problem IMO, i think something else is wrong with the hardware, some guy on my friends list left his 360 on for 26 hours lol...it said "Away For 26 Hours"...that was over an year ago, but nothing happened to his 360 at that time.....his 360 died like 3 weeks ago though lol

yeah i think something else is messed up inside 360

TC, if it makes you feel any better, its highly unlikely that the 360 failure rates are at the 30% most say. Just know that this isn't common and that you're one of only a few this has happened to.

In begin of this year this is true, but in the end of "THIS YEAR" the PS3 has a better lineup of software..

thx but the dust is inside it and even inside the disc tray....i would deffo want it to die and get a brand new 1, i just hope my 360 doesnt die as soon as the warranty expires

Really? Because my ps3 is dying now, in a shorter timespan than my LAUNCH 360 lasted. And my ps3 isn't from launch. It's from JAN 07. I'm currently getting CONSTANT lock-ups, which gives me this "message" when I go to turn it off. I hold my finger down on the off/on button, then i have to wait about 8 seconds... (as opposed to the usual 3 seconds) followed my three beeps in a row, right after another. Probably a split-second inbetween each. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?

If not, we'll have to call it the "Three Beeps of Death".

...No, unfortunately it doesn't. Most, if not all, stores punch this tab through the box and scan the bar-code on the actual console, not the box. If you pull that, when they scan it again to give you your refund..... guess what? It either won't work, or even worse, they can you in trouble with the law.

HOWEVER! There is another solution that works almost as good. Just call to get your 360 serviced just like you normally would.... then go to Best Buy (this works best if you have a credit card.... because you're not actually handling money, or having to pull 300-some bucks out of somewhere) and buy a 360. Then take the new harddrive off, put your old one on, and play it. Play it until you get your REAL 360 back from service. JUST MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE ONE YOU BOUGHT BACK WITHIN 30 DAYS, SO YOU CAN GET YOUR FULL REFUND. There you go. You lose no game time, and you don't ahve to worry, and there's no real hassle.

Halo 3 did that to my brothers, and my friends, both freezed at the Matchmaking lobby. Which is odd cuz..there is nothing really "rendered" in those screens...

I had my 360 for 3 months before it Red Ringed............THREE MONTHS!! It took them a month to get it back to me. That's why my PS3 is superior in my eyes to that unreliable console.

Mass Effect in 2 weeks hurry up and get it fixed.hongkingkong
