OMG, Gears is dethroned and I'm not talking about Killzone 2

I'll hype whatever game I want, no ones telling you to not hype Lost Odyssey or Mass Effect. The gameplay looks like boring trash though. It's like this boring platformer with some generic guy. The level design also looks awful. There are games that are better than gears graphically; COD4, UT3 (possibly), PGR4, BIA.

Don't kill the messenger, I'm just saying this specific game your hyping doesn't have the graphics or the gameplay.

Umm Mark Rein said UT 3 looks better than gears, Uncharted looks better than gears, Killzone 2 PWNS gears graphically and Lair looks better than gears. And all of these games have environments much larger than gears, have more than a few enemies on screen at once and have a story longer than 6 hours. The only reason gears looked good is because the environments were riny and there were only a few enemies on screen at once, it looks good but it isnt technologically impressive.

PS3 has tons of good games out right now, GEARS had small maps and only a few enemies on screen at once. This allowed the graphics to be much better without any frame rate issues. Its just not that impressive. If they did Gears graphics with Resistance size maps and dozens on enemies on screen at once I would be impressed.

I own a 360 and a PS3 and right now Gears of War is the best looking game out but not for long. Im sorry but you would have to be absolutely delustional not to think Uncharted doesnt destroy Gears at least from a visual perspective.
