Super was nice enough to encourage me to create a thread. I didn't want to at first, but then I was like, why not. Might as well. Thank you, Super. So, what's the cheapest game you've ever bought? 2.99euros. Project Dark Zero. http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/post_msg.php?topic_id=29389331

Excitebots: Trick Racing. Got it for $2 at EB Games. It was supposed to be "new", but it really wasn't.

For four bucks? Hell yeah, the game is ridiculously fun. Very short but you can find it jsut as cheap or cheaper even at Gamestop. It doesn't do anything that new, and it has some issues but for the price I definitely got my money's worth.

From what I understand it copies Max Payne with its slow mo bullet time and stuff.  I haven't played Max Payne so I wouldn't know, but that's what I've heard.

well relatively speaking, GW2 would be that game. 900 hours (and counting) for 60 dollars = 15 hours per dollar. but literally speaking... i have no idea. probably something out of a steam sale. i think i paid less than 2 dollars for hard reset.

Yeah, I played the demo years and years ago, and I did remember the bullet dodge thing from Max Payne. Thanks. I'll look into it.

RiverRaid for the Atari 2600 for 50 cents. Worth more than a lot of 60$ current generation games I've bought as well.

Just be warned that despite its length it's repetitive.  I didn't have a problem with that because of the price I paid and I enjoyed the shooting quite a bit. but it may not be your thing, so do some research and maybe watch some gameplay first.

I can deal with repetitiveness. As long as I'm shooting dudes in the face, it's cool. I'll check out some Let's Play vids.

Oh then you should love the game. It is pretty much "shoot a bunch of dudes: the game. And there is a story". Enjoy.

Easily some Steam game I got for a $1.50, probably. Is there a way to see how much you've paid for games on Steam in the past? I'm gonna check.

EDIT: Checked and I paid 1.24 for Binding of Isaac.

I got the original Bioshock for a dollar on the PS3 somehow. This was pretty much right after the PS3 version had some out too. Like behind the glass there was Bioshock, with a $50 price tag, but there was a copy of another version that also had this paper casing that the main game case was in that was a dollar. I bought it expecting it to be broken or something, but I played through the whole thing and it was fine. It was strange.

Not counting steam games...

A Boy and his Blob (Wii) was like $1.98 at Sears.
Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (PS3), also at Sears, and also out of the dump bin.

I had lots of finds at this Sears, but unfortunately they hardly even bother stocking games anymore so I'm unlikely ever to do that well again.

Depends on the platform. Also I am guessing games I got for free like Metro 2033, Crysis 3, and Bioshock Infinite don't count. PC=$1.69 (Overlord) PS3=not sure, but around $2.50 (games like The Unfinished Swan, Machinarium, Shank 2, and WARP) Phone=10 cent (way too many games to list)
