Nothing has changed in the PS4 version of TLOU

Yeah, guys... that sounds like a very poor excuse to me, if anyone wants to play the original game, it's right there, it exists, it's still being sold, it's barely a year old, it's not even rare to find. With the recent spate of news about this game, The Last of Us on PS4 is increasingly coming off to me as a cynical cash grab made exclusively to pad up the PS4's anemic lineup this year (and maybe to get Naughty Dog familiar with the hardware with a relatively safe project).

Same thing with GTA V, The Last of Us PS4 is a cash grab.

It just doesn't deserve all the attention it is getting. It's just an up-rezzed GOTY edition.

I have high hopes for GTA V PC. supposedly it's going to be taking advantage of AMD's mantle.

If you have a point with this thread why don't you make it. It's a remaster of a game a year old that includes all the DLC. You are acting if they should have added something else. The PS3 version is only a year old and with DLC would cost 45$.

Yes because Halo Collection = TLOU. One is a compilation of every Master Chief game ever created spanning a decade and the other is a single game that was launched last year.

Excluding GTA V PC -- more of a "brand new" game. For consoles, even with updated whathaveyou, it's a rerelease. Though I am looking forward to continuing to play GTA V Online.

No you can definitely see the difference. I was just making sure that it wasn't like PR Remaster shots vs ingame remaster. Because then people would have a definite reason to be pissed.

Yeah, TLOU on PS3 has some great art design and detail to the levels, but it looks like ass--jaggies and muddy textures

I don't care, it's an amazing game just being made even better with a consistent framerate and increased visuals.

Whoa, GTA V there's an actual difference in PS4 and Xbox One than 360 and PS3. Not only that but There's going to be a PC version too so expect some awesome mods that will make the game even more different.

The Last of Us has literally nothing separating itself from it's PS3 counterpart.

It is a cash grab though there are many people out there that havent played it yet so for them is a great deal. So why not ?

The game definitely doesn't deserve a brand new full retail price tag and the changes are all cosmetic. It's only getting a LOT of talk because it's ND and it's TLOU which was already such an insanely hot topic. That and the fact that there's **** all else going on in the AAA next gen scene lately.

Played it already, having slighter up-rezed tree's and 60FPS is not worth spending £45 on this game again. If you missed out on it last gen, go play this version but if you already bought and finished the PS3 version then its a waste of cash. You already know how the story will pan out, there is no new DLC with this release, nothing new for the story.

Didn't you get milked as an early adopter for something called kinect?

Label them then, only one of those screenshots looked like it was from the PS4 version and that is only because I saw it on /v/ about 3 hours ago.

The game is 1080p/60fps increased texture on everything, replaced gameplay models, and includes all DLC for $50, while the year old PS3 version with all the DLC would still cost $45. Don't want it? Already played it? DON'T BUY IT.

Right then, from what I've seen the PS4 shots have better floor textures and more foliage. Totally worth £45.

I don't understand the point of this thread and others bashing HD re-releases/remasters.

These re-releases are for:
A. People who haven't played the game/don't own a PS3
B. People who want a game they enjoyed with better graphics on a more capable platform.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that. Stop the unnecessary bitching.
