I owned a Sega Saturn and was playing the best games that gen, I also had (and still do own a N64) the PS1 was average when compared to the other 2, and i did own a PS1 and its best game for me was F1 97, but for me good games were far & few in between.

I got the PS1 years into its life and got it cheap cheap from a garage sale, i mean Sony had pretenders in racing and fighting games like Ridge Racer & Toshinden, when Sega had heavyweights in Virtua Fighter and Daytona.

I'm a little bummed that I didn't have a Vita ... but I got to play Gravity Rush Remastered and Tearaway Unfolded on PS4 which was nice.

I also never got around to get VITA or PSVR lol. Played P4G on Steam amongst the VITA games lol.

@magnum3000: I don't have a PS4. Combination of factors. I had kids a few years ago so game time has been cut down a lot, still not done with my PS3 backlog. Also have been playing on PC a bit more with what game time I do have, and I feel more inclined to upgrade that if I do spend money on hardware any time soon. Even Sony is starting to put stuff on PC. The only thing I see changing my mind is if they add in PS1-3 backwards compatibility on PS5.

I do have a Switch, but that was a gift. Otherwise I would have probably sat this console gen out.

@Archangel3371: I thought Days Gone was going to be terrible, actually turned out to be one of the most underrated games I have played. I'm not sure why it scored so low on gamespot.
