Witcher 2, followed closely by Skyrim.

NONE of them? What the hell does interest you, that's some great variety of quality games across all the platforms except for the Wii.None of them interest me.

For casuals every possible candidate has been listed. Dead State is the answer for true RPG fans.

I haven't even heard of this one. What makes it so "1337" then?

The Designer Brian Mitsoda worked at Black Isle, Trokia, and Obsidian as a lead writer. There's loads of stuff about the game which is awesome too. The graphics aren't that good but I honestly don't care. I'll be downloading it off Steam on day 1.For casuals every possible candidate has been listed. Dead State is the answer for true RPG fans.

The idea might sound good, but I'm afraid this panic thing that can cause your team to do some random stuff you can't controll will totally destroy it :S Guess we know after the Demo is out ^^ I'm still mostly hyped for Disgaea 4... that's what the real RPG for "true fans" (whatever that is, but since it's probably the most complex SP (you can't really comprare SP to MMOs ^^) RPG of 2011 I'm just going to say that :P)
Agreed. Gotta love those Polish developers for bringing back the hardcore RPG.For me it's a tie between Witcher 2 and Dead State.

Dark Souls and ME3. If Witcher 2 comes to consoles, then that too.DeathtransitWitcher 2 is coming to consoles
Witcher 2 is coming to consoles I hope so, but that "confirmation" seemed a bit hazy to me. I believe Witcher 1 was confirmed for consoles too, so I'm waiting for an actual release date or some console screens at least.[QUOTE="Deathtransit"]Dark Souls and ME3. i dont think the last guardian is going to be a rpg.. yakuza 4 and ffv13 are probably my most anticipated rpgscampzorIsn't Yakuza 4 a beat em up with RPG elements? As for the topic Witcher 2.
Isn't Yakuza 4 a beat em up with RPG elements? As for the topic Witcher 2. Well really, ME3 is a TPS with RPG elements, and I find Yakuza has more RPG gameplay elements than Mass Effect, but I didn't wana get into that. :O[QUOTE="campzor"]i dont think the last guardian is going to be a rpg.. yakuza 4 and ffv13 are probably my most anticipated rpgsjasonharris48
Witcher 2 is coming to consoles It is? I thought they canceled it for some reason or weren't working on it until the PC one was long done. I've heard great things about the first one but there's no way my PC could handle it (Civ 5 in icon only mode still makes my computer crawl in late game). Dragon Age 2 is still my #1 but if Witcher 2 comes to consoles in 2011 it's my #2.[QUOTE="Deathtransit"]Dark Souls and ME3. If Witcher 2 comes to consoles, then that too.Jimbowesker
Mass Effect 3 is decidedly my most wanted one.
Four (I'm not sure about DA2) great and different enough RPGs this year. Fun will be had.
Dark Souls is losing in votes even to Mass Effect? What is this madness! The Witcher 2 is looking top notch but my computer would blow up if I try to run it. Skyrim looks good also. Personally I feel Dark souls will be the funnest but skyrim will be the best RPG.
Very tough choice between Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim, but the Mass Effect franchise is pretty much my favorite ever (Mario is close, but I think that is more nostalgia), so I'll have to go with that.
I still have a very hard time calling Mass Effect 2 an RPG so unitl they reveal more about the third installment, I'm pretty sure it's going to remain the same.
It's one of those games with RPG elements like inFAMOUS or Ratchet and Clank
And I don't understand why people take offense to this as if RPG is the greatest genre a game could hope to be. It's far more offensive to mention that the audience that bioware was reaching out for with the second Mass Effect was the Call of Duty crowd
