From your list:
1. Skyrim
2. Dark souls
3. Dragon Age 2
4. Mass effect 3
I didn't include the witcher 2 because i rarely play on my pc, but if i did it would have placed second.
other than those, I'm exited for Yakuza 4
Also excited for Tales of Graces, Radiant Historia, and The Last Story if that comes to NA.
Wanderer5
holy crap how did I not see this yet :o
so now all they need to do is port 4 and they'll have the entire series on PSP :P
The Witcher 2 for consoles is not confirmed for this year. Anyway, The Witcher 2 for PC.Dark Souls by far
Then Witcher2 on 360 and Skyrim last
Creator_Of_All
They all look like must-have games. Great year for RPGs. I'd add Deus Ex, The Last Story(I'm hopeful :(), Xenoblade (again hopeful :()and Dragon Quest VI to the list.
The one I want most tho is Mass Effect 3.
In the time between Oblivion and Skyrim there will be 3 MASS EFFECT GAMES..
Obviously Skyrim with a 5 year wait is far more anticipated than any other game this year besides Duke Nukem Forever.
Another thread that misspelled WRPG as RPG, there aren't only WRPGs on this planet damned. I'm mostly hyped for Disgaea 4 (JSRPG), Neptunia (JRPG) and Guild Wars (MMORPG). Why don't you at least give an option for "any JRPG" and "any MMORPG" or just named the thread Must have WRPG? Anyway, I go with DA2, but I'm interested how the new TES plays like, loved Morrorwind, hated Oblivion

Because I'd be willing to bet that more people are excited for Skyward Sword than Skyrim. Twilight Princess sold over 7 million copies (both versions combined), and that was basically a Gamecube game.
JRPG are dead indeed. The only big one is Dark Souls, but it copies everything from WRPGS :lol:The_RedLionName one WRPG that uses anything in Demon's Souls? Most Action WRPGs have horrible fighting, and the fighting in Demon's Souls is one the best parts about it.

K, that did not answer anything really.

I wouldn't have as much faith in SS, elder scrolls games are very popular, so it's hard to tell which will be more popular.

one could consider it a JRPG, could also argue it's not JRPG,
