For PS4, i can do $399.99 for a basic bundle (I'd pay more for a BC unit, if given the option). Can't do anymore than that because i want a few games too, not to mention other possible accessories. You?
I probably gonna go PC gaming for next-gen first. In terms of release entry prices however anything above $299.99 is a no go for me so Sony better go cheap this coming gen if they hope to survive. Make the machine powerful, but not FIVE HUNDRED AND NINTY NINE US DOLLARS powerful.

Hard to answer really, as TBH, I can pretty much afford any price they ask for. For me its more a case of what is actually offered for said price, and if it's good value, rather than just the price itself.
Since I got a gaming PC, buying a console at launch is no more for me.
If the PS4 doesn't disappoint (hopefully no touch screen controller!), I'll get it late in the generation, so I will probably buy it for £200 at most. I'm expecting the launch price to be £350 ~ £410.
400 is reasonable and acceptable for me, as TC said i'm willing to spend another 100 for BC ! Although Sony buying Gaikai, may indicate that we will be able to play PS3 games on the Orbis/PS4 !
I paid $350 for the Wii U. I would have preferred it to be $300, but it was a Christmas present to myself. I won't buy either of the other two consoles unless they're the same price or cheaper. I don't expect that to happen.
I wont be getting the next generation of systems at launch Ill be likely getting them 4-5 years into the generation when they go down far far into prices.
I'll pay as much as the games demand (assuming I have the money to do so).
If the trends were to continue exactly as they are this generation then I'd spend probably $200-$300 on the Xbox, and maybe $50 for the PS4.
I'm not sure about the Wii U yet. I don't have enough money to buy one now, but I don't think I would buy one even if I had a spare $10,000 lying around.

1000AUD. That was the PS3 launch price here. I'm ok with that for about a decade of entertainment. I'm going to be more picky about when I buy this time, depending on the games.
499.99 and this is not the most i will spend, this is what i want it to be. If its under, system will be weak crap and outdated in 6 months or less. If its more then its too much for something that can only play games.
As with most of you, $300 - $400 is about it. However, if Microsoft intends to charge for Xbox Live on the next generation, XBL needs to get a lot better, at least at launch, or Sony will have my business.
