I like how this topic starts with his example of an empowered woman by posting two pictures of an almost naked Chun-Lee with bizarrely exaggerated proportions.

It seems Lara Croft, Chun-Lee and Aloy are the only three empowered women in gaming right now.

Aloy is just that girl from Game of Thrones who was boring and annoying then, and as Aloy she is morose, boring and annoying too. Exactly how is she empowered anyway? Because she doesn't smile?

Video game makers pat themselves on the back these days for having a female lead, then make them almost a completely blank personality.

I’m gonna have to go with Aloy on this one as much as I love Chun Li’s thick thighs lol. Lara Croft is an honorable mention as well.

You know why no-one can't think of any outside of those four examples? Because there literally aren't any and they are all super duper sexy half naked women who probably just wanted a man anyway and thats why they're all serious and shit.

Only one of them is partially playable, and they were all book characters before video game characters, but Triss, Yen and Ciri are some of the best portrayals of actual people I've seen in video games. They laugh, they cry, they act when needed, but also know they can't do everything by themselves; they proudly display their strengths, and attempt to hide their weaknesses. They are more like real people than just the emotionless women list we have going on so far.
