[QUOTE="CelineDion"]Halo 2.

Give us a break.
Halo 2 was the most disappointing sequel I've ever played. Because the first one was so unbelievably good.
I'm not anti-Halo. Halo 2 was just marginal in every way.

Most disappointing sequel?
[QUOTE="Vyse_The_Daring"]For me? Prince of Persia the Two Thrones. FlawlessSeasonsyeah, for some reason I just couldn't get into the game. Sands of Time and Warrior Within were so awesome, but in that one I was just like "Boohoo prince, we all have problems" For me it was the fighting. Any time I screwed up a speed kill, or worse I was forced to fight normally, the fighting was just awful.
I fail to see how Halo 2 is a controversial pick when Bungie itself is putting out press releases talking about all the things they screwed up in Halo 2.

i can only agree to the single player campaign.
Halo 2 for me... They ruined the damn Pistol..asdasd:o not the pistol :o:o::o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o
How are people saying Halo 2?
The first was unbalanced and repetitive. So what's Bungie do? They fix that.
For instance, (and not to pick on the person that said this) complaining about the degradation of the pistol. That makes sense, it's a damn pistol and was unbalanced to begin with. You want them to leave it broken conceptually. Find another weapon that is better and makes more sense being better.
Yeah, KoToR II wasn't nearly as enjoyable as the first. I totally agree. Just couldn't get into the story...musicalmac
I found the story more enjoyable and the characters were much deeper as well.Â
The only thing that was bad for it was it's unfinished graphics and because it was rushed.

How does anyone forget pdz?nextgengaming18I personally don't find it as bad as some people would like to make it out to be. It's hard to beat the original, because it was universally loved by everyone (or so it would seem). The game is still fun, it's just a different kind of fun. Just try to enjoy it, instead of trying not to.

I didn't make the claim, you going to support your side of this conversation or just walk away? Looks like you're just walking away.
Seriously, I respect everyones opinion, even if biased, but there are FAR worse sequels than a AAA game that broke sales records... Spartan070Thank you! Once again, Spartan comes through for us.

The controllers were clunky, the gameplay was rather slow , the stealth modes were rather useless and clunky, the story was just terrible, and the character design was really mediocre. I may seem like a fanboy, but that game just sucked..

Are you talking about this stuff, where Bungie's technical lead says that he cannot play Halo 2's multiplayer, because it falls so far short of what it could have been?
Not only does Bungie say absolutely nothing about the quality of Halo 2 relative to Halo 1, but it doesn't mean that they hated Halo 2, just that they felt it could have been better. The article I linked to explains a lot of that.
People in System Wars really need to learn basic reading comprehension skills.

Some of us pay attention to the use of the English language.
The thread creator asked "what was the most disappointing sequel?", not "what was the worst sequel?".
That's a pretty huge difference of meaning, wouldn't you say?
