It scored 9.6/10 and sold incredibly. It was one of the major reasons so many bought their PS2.the-very-best
It was also bashed as one of the most disappointing games. Partly due to having to play as the wuss, raiden, and partly due to the incredibly long noninteractive sequences. MGS 3 was just a much better all around game.
mgs 1 and 3 are pretty standard, but mgs 2, is on my top 10 games ever.KrudusYep, don't kno why peeps can't see that
MGS2 is not that great. 95% of the game is spent on that annoying Strut complex. All the rooms are the same... boring. MGS3 was extremely overrated and was like a step back in time with not having a radar, and not being able to see enemies but them being able to see you. They need to change the camera angle in the MGS series so you can actually see enemies before you're right next to them, hopefully MGS4 will fix that. And it can't be underrated if all the mags rated it highly. Underappreciated maybe, but not underrated.nirvanasourcePlay MGS3 substinence DUR!!!!!!!

MGS3 stinked and was boring, MGS2 has one of the most complex and storydriven storys ever and Raiden rocks[QUOTE="sonicare"][QUOTE="the-very-best"]It scored 9.6/10 and sold incredibly. It was one of the major reasons so many bought their PS2.lordsettra12

They did fix the camera angles in MGS3: Subsistance.

ya you probably havent played mgs3.......
if you did youd know it takes place in the 1960s......you know? before the complex radar was invented?
and enemies only see you if your next to them, or if you dont have camoflauge
