With PC and Xbox being the best thanks to the amazing backward compatibility. Sony will probably charge you an arm and a leg to play it on PS5, so F Sony. Anyone playing this gem? Anyone wanting to see the all mighty Konami deliver us a part 2? Isnt it strange the best Metal Gear game isnt made by Kojima. And thank goodness for that, dude makes movie games now.

I still have my PS3 set up with my PS4 and PS5. No problem playing playing old games here as I buy all my games physical.

I have the Xbox version, played through it, and really enjoyed it. Wouldn’t mind playing through it again but got too many other games to play right now. Would love to see a sequel.

MGR has spawned a bunch of memes in the last few years, from Raiden's "The Memes" to Senator Armstrong's "Make America Great Again" and now "Jetstream Sam Thinking"...

Just checked MGR's Steam Spy page, which estimates it's now sold between 1-2 million copies on Steam. That's more than the original PS3 version, which had sold between 500K and 1M copies.

Hows those Sony multiplayer games going, oh yeah, there are none. Must suck for Sony fans to have no multiplayer games to play.

@Jag85: Steam Spy tends to be way off the mark though. They reported that Elden Ring on PC had sold between 10-20M copies after the first week and they were way off the mark.

That game deserves the attention, really wish they would make a sequel to it.

No, a sequel. It was supposed to be a sequel when Kojima Productions was developing it but then the timeline changed once Platinum took over.

Gosh I miss the Metal Gear series. What could have been with that MGSV when there is evidence that it wasn't finished and there was more content but it got scrapped and Konami had to be a fucking asshole to Kojima....Ugh, I wish I lived in that parallel universe where MGSV had all the content he wanted in there.

Oh well, MGSV is still good and MGR is great too. Love my Metal Gear games except Survive...ugh gross.

I loved it. And yes I can redownload it anytime. But Elden Ring, ME Legendary, FH5 and Halo are taking my time now

There are way better action games on the market. MGR had a LOT of problems for it to be even on the top 5 of action games

Yeah, wouldn't even put it in Platinums top 3 action games, maybe scratches their top 5.
