I love final fantasy but didnt think much of 10, or, surprisingly, 7. Mass effect is being made by bioware, therefore i have great confidence in it. It depends what 12 is like, it still hasnt come to europe so i have had no chance to play it. My vote goes to Mass Effect.
Every Final Fantasy has some how been better than the last "beside 7 that game is just to good" so far ....so FF VS Mass Effect....I will have to say FF

not at all...I jsut find it pointless to even debate games that no-one knows anything about...(well one of them anyway)......it's like saying that think Halo 24 will crush Half Life 16.........it's one thing if both were going to be out in a few months and we had real screens to compair nad contrast....it's another to just do it based on the content of one and the name recognition of another.....

BioWare didn't make KOTOR 2. That's why it sucked.

Bioware doesn't keep series for long e.g. Baldur's Gate 2 is as far as they went with that series and KOTOR 1 was as far as they went with it despite both series selling well over a million copies. They prefer to make new IPs.

So you don't like it because of where it's made? Shouldn't you decide these things on a game by game basis? If Mass Effect doesn't sound appealing to you that's fine but if the only reason is the nationality of the developer then your missing out.

Final Fantasys on the PS1 were awesome
Final Fantasys on the PS2 were mediocre
If the pattern continues, tha would stink for PS3 owners

I loved KotoR. I love Jade Empire (just rebought it this week). Two of my fav games of all time. Mass Effect looks to be great also. But still TC is self owned for saying Bioshock had KotoR II under it's belt.
