Mario Kart 8 & Super Smash Bros....Here Comes the Wii-U

Well with Mario Kart 8 coming May 30th, and Super Smash Bros following in December....

Plus a possible new Zelda announcement at E3...looks like the Wii-U will have it's moment in the sun after all.

It's coming out this year. Nintendo announced 'Winter' release dates for Skyward Sword, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, A Link Between Worlds, and 3D World as well, and they all released in November or Decembe. Nintendo does not follow official seasonal nomenclature, apparently.

It does have ranking- Global Smash Power.

Just like with the Wii, its 1 or 2 good games per 12 months. How exciting.

The Wii U is dead. Sheep need to give it up, Nintendo should just focus their resources on a real next gen console.

Nope, PS3 was dead last for most of the last gen. The only thing that helped the PS3 was being the cheapest Blu-Ray player for the first two and half years.

What I like about Nintendo exclusives is that 5 years from now, I'll still be playing Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart, like how I'm still playing Brawl on a frequent basis. Hyped egames like Halo and Battlefield, I'll play for a few months, then forget about them forever. I wouldn't be surprised is SSB 4 got GOTY

Well, it was kinda obvious the Wii U would get those games from the moment Nintendo announced a console.

I think what wasn't expected was that the 3DS would get games like Smash Brothers, too, and much earlier...

No one wastes any time coming in here and mentioning upcoming generic releases like Halo or Call of Duty, or even Uncharted or God of War.

So Wii-U fans are just as entitled to get excited about their next 1st party releases and sequels as other fanboys are about their latest rehashes.

Oh so now your a fortune teller, there are still 3 upcoming 1st party titles for Wii-U that have yet to be released the 2 mentioned in this thread title releasing this year, and one (Zelda) to be announced at E3, each of which will cause a surge of Wi-U's to fly off store shelves, not to mention future titles like Metroid, Pokemon and Animal Crossing headed for Wii-U as well...all proven system seller's.

So don't put it dead last just yet, besides Xbox-One's future isn't looking to bright right now, but you can't count that out just yet either....it's too early.
