Unless I'm mistaken (What's the big deal with this Hidden Power move?), there's no real need to breed 'mons a thousand times for the right IVs this time when you can just Hyper Train them to make them viable for PvP.

I have a very hard time finishing any of the games that came out this year.

Mafia 3, Deus Ex, Forza Horizon 3, The Witness. Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Stellaris, etc.

I don't consider this a me thing. I've been going back and playing older games with no problem at all. Honestly, if I were to pick, this would probably be the weakest year this gen. We've had a lot of games this year, but even with that, I didn't exactly enjoy many of them.

This year can't be as bad as 2014.

You know how you see an image online like on instagram and right below it there is the text giving details? We encounter that Everyday right?

What's annoying is when you see a person's image and you think they just passed away lol even the image looks like it's giving the impression of something serious but then it's just a scandal or hospitalised etc lol.

Hidden Power is like this move that all Pokemon can learn that has its Special Attack type based on the IVs of a Pokemon. Say you have some Mono-Grass Pokemon like Serperior or something that cant really learn shit beyond grass attacks that give it limited coverage against the millions of Talonflames and Mega-Charizard Ys you run into in Battle Spot. You give it Hidden Power and specific IV's so that move turns into a Rock Type to punish typings likely to try to switch in on it (Flying, Ice, Fire, Bug). Hidden Power on a Perfect IV Pokemon is also access to a free Dark move if one wants.

As for Hyper Training, havent tried it yet. But I already got a Gold Bottle Cap through a Treasure Hunt prize in the Festival Plaza. I'm just dreading how the hell I'm going to get one of the new Pokemon to level 100, because alot of them seem really awesome.

Though, I think EV development in S&M is a mixed bag depending on how you put it. There's the usual way (now with SOS). And there's no more stupid RSI inducing mini-game. The new method in being able to develop/queue them passively in Poke Pelago using the internal clock is great (meaning, you can develop them while your 3DS is off) and it can be done in bulks of several Pokemon at a time. But it's a different kind of annoying as it's time gated to a point where they're hard to keep track of. There's only that visual graph instead of transparent values to work with and you're progressing them over the course of several days; so get that spreadsheet out? The worse part is I can say is that I dont think there's a quick way to insta-reset them like the Reset bag or through the Juice Shoppe in X/Y.

One more day and then a long weekend. I think I need it; been a bad few days for me.

2014? I forget exactly all the third party games that came out that year, but on the exclusive side it was great (Nintendo-wise). Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, Shovel Knight, Donkey Kong, Hyrule Warriors, and Captain Toad. I thought it was a great year for the Wii U at the very least, 2015 and 2016 would be mostly lacking in that department. Plus, Divinity: Original Sin, Dark Souls 2 (I enjoyed that), Titanfall, etc. It wasn't the best year ever, but I'd say it was a pretty good one. To be honest, it's kind of scary to think those games are already two years old haha.

Yeah this is an awesome site for that at least lol.

I think it will be a 10/10 game, but no one wants to make a hype thread for it.

The Wii U had good exclusive games that year. The 3rd party support dried up for the Wii U too.

Dark Souls 3 and Titanfall 2 came out this year.

Ironically, it was a restless night that somehow rested me. Today was a drag, but now that it's over and I have four days of sloth ahead of me I'm mildly happy again. A nice chat with a friend last night also did wonders for me.

I miss when I could just forget the day's hassles by turning on a game. As it stands, most games now don't hold my attention the way they used to. Even games I was originally hyped for lost their appeal before they even released.

Thankfully, I'll always have friends to talk to. Better than any game in the world.

@darkspineslayer: SS, FL and TLoU all does the same crap digitally or physical disc. I'm going have Amazon send a replacement and hope for the best. Did you use the default HDD? I switched right out of the box to a 2TB. Not sure if that's the issue but I'll definitely try the default first before switching with the replacement.

Mine is using the default Hard Drive. Hadn't had a chance to buy one to change out. But then again, my TV is 4K but not HDR. Perhaps that's a factor but I can't see it pushing the fan quite THAT loud...

@darkspineslayer: The HDR toggle doesn't effect the sound at all but the higher resolution does. My Pro is looking more and more like a lemon the more I talk to other users about it.
