hold the phone there...so when were talking about graphics, we ony talk about the technical? imho that really doesent make sense. yea there is the technical side of it and in that regard no wii game come into contention. but there is the art direction and what the devs also do with the tech they have also. sky city in MP3 is a pleasure to look at for example. yes a PS3 or 360 could emulate a wii running that tech if a dev wanted to do it but it still looks great anyway. mario galaxy, a real visual feast imho. the way the water is done for the ray surfing looks fantastic and some of the levels in the game just made me go wow. R&C hasnt made me go wow yet. SOTC made me go wow alot more than gears.

that, imho, is what graphics boils down to. what u see on screen. it doesent matter how many pixels are being thrown around, all that matters is how the game actually looks. the technical side of it certainly gives devs extra ability to improve the visuals but thats irrelevant. all that matters is the end product on screen.

i suppose thats a harder point to argue though because that all comes down to opinion. with the technical side u can measure it. u can say game X does enviroenment mapping and has lots of millions of pixels in every frame....more than game Y.

obhiously R&C is technically far superior to SMG or MP3 in every single way. but to just look at em....well mario has made me go wow more. then again though, imho, okami is a better looking game than most games this gen...and thats on the PS2. the game is just a pleasure to look at.

because like 2 people in the world can actually run Crysis without it looking like a sub par 360 game.

Its funny, all those "look at my amazing crysis shots" posts always seem to look like, well, in best summary the 360 version of AA (which is somewhat bad)
