What chair do you use for gaming? I have a boring office chair that I got from Staples a while back :( but I would like to eventually get a nice chair, maybe even a gaming chair. So SW, what chair do you use for gaming? And do you recommend it? This is the closest thing to what I have.

Mah couch, which i'm replacing soon. I was thinking about trying to introduce a gaming desk, but I have no room in my condo.

My brother got a cheap-ish gaming chair and it broke quickly and leant heavily to the right lol. He bought a replacement from Secret Labs. If you want a solid gaming chair, spend the money.

I've not finished it... Thought I locked myself out of the end-game, which I didn't, but I burned myself out. Too heavily invested in GoT ATM, and my bro and I are doing a run-through of Halo 1-3 on PC over the next couple weeks.

I've only played about a couple hours of GoT, but I think it's great. But I hear you.. I have to go back to Xenoblade Chronicles. Haven't played it since the "incident." But the good thing is that they are both totally different experiences so I can switch whenever I get tired of one lol.

Herman Miller Aeron. One at home and one at the office, only chair I'll use. Highly recommend, but I'll stop there because I come off like a salesman when this subject comes up.

Don't get a pc gaming chair, they are dumb and fake. I went with Steelcase on of the best brands.

I opted for the Think over the more popular Leap, since the Leap's back it too curved for my spine in any setting. Costs $750:

I use a manager's chair that I bought from Staples. I just sat in every chair that they had out on the floor, which was a lot. It was the most comfortable for me. I love it. Only thing I can kick myself in the balls for is not being strict with the cat. The cat sleeps on it when I'm not using it and scratched the **** out of it. I wouldn't be able to get $50 for it. Still works and feels the same, just looks like shit now.

I'm a big guy and my job has my back pretty sore after a 10 hours shift, so after years of sitting on crappy office chairs that don't adjust to the right height or support my size, I splurged and spent about 450 bucks on a "big man's" chair.

Best. Decision. Ever. Worth every penny. Back pain went away, the chair has improved my posture, it's super comfortable.

Swear to god, some things are just worth the money. It was hard for me to spend more than 100 dollars on a chair but it was a good move.

The metascore obviously!

Nah, but really just everything you want from a chair. Comfort, health, durability. Only downside is the price, but then again it's so well built you'll likely never need to buy another chair.

Could go on, but it's literally the most popular high end office chair there is. So you'll have no problem finding thorough reviews.

Aeron is my jam, but just about any chair from either Herman Miller or Steelcase is gonna be good shit.

And gotta cosign with Zariya here, don't buy into the gaming chair nonsense. Unless you're on a strict budget, then it's whatever.

Ya it does seem silly at first. I think the thing that finally convinced me was the fact I sit on my chair about three hours a day on average. My butt is worth a few hundred bucks, and I see coworkers with terrible back problems and I don't want to be that way.

The only gaming chair you will ever need. Only downside is that it can run $10-15K.

My Steelcase Leap V2....

It's a great ergonomic task chair. Good investment for my back. Too many years on a shit chair will fuk up your back. I also have the couch in the living room and a DX Racer cockpit for racing games. :)

Was going to post the same. I bought one 2nd hand about a year ago and it's one of the best items I have ever purchased. My back aches are completely gone and I never feel like I need to adjust my position due to becoming uncomfortable.

Amazing chair.

@netracing: Yeah, I bought mine used too. I was also considering the Steelcase Gesture and Herman Miller Embody at the time. A guy was selling the Leap V2 in mint condition for a fraction of the cost of the other chairs, so I couldn't pass it up. I figured if I didn't like it, I could always sell it to somebody else. I have been happy with it for many years now though. :)

@SolidGame_basic: Gaming chairs are always a bad purchase. There is only one exception really in the whole world. And it's a 1500 USD Herman Miller exception (it's not my style though).

Just some no-frills leather office chair, which is showing wear and tear, to be honest. The left armrest is torn and the reclining spring is busted.

Whatever. I can still sit my arse on it, and that's good enough for me.

I'm glad I made this thread then lol I thought gaming chairs would be preferred.

You should put a Warframe skin on your chair.

It's the same thing with any good chair generally, you dont constantly have to think about are you in proper posture, the chair does it for you

I don't have room for an office chair, and the synthetic leather on my last one looked like shit after a year anyway. Dining chair for PC, bed for TV.

The towel is actually on my chair to prevent my sweat from ruining the cushion, not to cushion my bottom. Sitting hurts after a while anyway, whether I'm sitting in a chair or my memory foam mattress.

I’ve got an X Rocket gaming chair and a naff office one for when I game on my PC definitely need to upgrade that one
