You're a real Lem aren't you? You say that they're no games to play? You need to think that one over buddy. They're something in every genre on the system. Do you have a grudge against fun and happiness or something?

Its at a point where I will buy any SKU of the PS3 if it comes with BC. I will not ever buy a PS3 if it doesn't come with BC. Hence why the search for a 20GB/60GB continues.Blackbond

I have been a strong 360 supporter since launch. However a friend and I made a pact that when/if we got our "economic stimulus tax cut" we would use them to get PS3's. I'd like to have a Bluray player and there is a hand full of games I would like to play, Warhawk and Eye of Judgement are the highest on the list at the moment.

All my multiplats I will continue to get on the 360 though as well as continuing to subscribe to Live and overall I'm more excited about upcoming 360 titles than PS3.

Ah, ok. The upscaling is the only reason I even considered the 80GB over the 60GB, especially since I don't play many games, especially if they're older.

But its not as good as the 20GB/60GB from what I heard. I hear its B/C is some what limited and or gimped. I want near perfect B/C.

The 60Gb PS3 I have "smooths" the games, makes them look very nice on my HDTV.

resistance - good game, not enough for me to bite, though

heavenly sword - played it at a friend's, liked it. he beat it in two days, traded it in

motorstorm - looks good, racers aren't really my thing

warhawk - prefer a single player experience, with the exception of maybe worms, team fortress 2, and a bit of halo 3

uncharted - very cool game, but i admittedly liked gears better (and yes, the cover mechanics and gameplay are similar)

ratchet and clank - sorry, SMG takes my vote

lair - ummm

so, that's most of the currently available exclusives, i believe. everything else is multiplat

meanwhile, I (no, not every gamer, I, yes, I) loved Bioshock, Gears, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Condemned (believe that may have been multiplat), and Dead Rising. right now, IMO, more games i like.

It didn't when it was first released. That much I know. There was an article on Joystiq that compared FFX (or FFXII, I don't remember) on the PS2 and PS3 on an HDTV, and the PS3 version actually looked worse. Maybe one of the PS3 updates adds software upscaling, but not having a PS3, I wouldn't know.

Yeah, but is it upscaling? The 360 has upscaling for Xbox games, and they look fantastic, almost like they were rendered natively in 720p.

Dunno. TBH, Xbox games look ok to me upscaled, and the PS2 games look nice for what they are. It makes them very clean and smooth, but they are still PS2 games, so, yeah....
