I am a known lemming and I can honestly say I do not give a rats *** for this game. The first was excellent, but I really have no faith in the series after 2. DMC 3 was a good game, but lacked the fun factor that made it so successful. DMC 1 sold 4 million. DMC 2 and 3 both sold considerably less than the original. Please no vgcharts links... Dmc started off great but it cannot compete with the epicness of Ninja Gaiden or God of War series...
The point really isn't that it's the fourth game in a Capcom series that was almost killed by the God-awful part two. To me, the point is that Devil May Cry 4 was one of the first few games shown to sell us all on the PS3, and now that it's taking a couple of sidesteps away from the PS3, it's pretty darned embarrassing. It's like as if FOX News stopped supporting George Bush.
I duno, i expected threads like this .. but.. i didnt expect this many.. consider the 5000 threads that lems made about NG being 100,000 times better than DMC.. but now they care.. i duno... I'm actually playing DMC 3 and gears the most right now... IMO... just thinking about gears 2 (and it having more polish than the first one.. it needs more options and less gliches) .. it's more exciting than anything coming out for 360, to me.. (ya, halo 3 included)
