I don't think you quite know what anime, emo, or goth mean. And you seem to be under the aaumption that unless a game uses photo-realism, natural lighting, and realistc textures; it must be crap graphics.

I must be the only one who thinks the graphics look really bad.

The developers seem to have wanted to make their own SotC game ... Kind of lame, but it could turn out to be good enough so that it doesn't matter.

I think an art style like this dosent allow you to gain a good perspective on the games techincal looks, thats why (and please dont flame me here) I think it is comparable (I must stress in terms of screens) to valkryie chronicles in how it looks which shows an effective artstyle can more than make up for a lack of graphical prowess

The reason why its graphically poor is because the color scheme chosen is terrible. There's no real color direction.

The "art style" seems to be trying to overshadow very bad graphics. Look at the fur on the creature ... This is what fur would look like on a saturn game.

It might look better in motion though.

Valkyria looks a LOT better though and the animation int he game is absolutely stunning. I think we'll be able to judge better when we have a video.

Right now, I'd say it looks very poor.

Thats what I thought of immediately when I saw the large beast. And then I thought, "no they didn't copy it it's just a large beast," and then I saw the picture of him on top of the beast.

:|. In all honesty, its one of the better looking Wii games to me.

I looked at the graphics again. The rest of them look decent. But the beast is terrible. Here are the problem areas:

The graphics are comparable with an N64 game. Look at the fur on the creature. It sticks out in straight lines. It's just very very bad.

I dunno, i havent seen any of the gameplay videos, but from the images above, this looks like a blatant SOTC ripoff. This game looks like it is to SOTC what Saints Row is to GTA.

But only the beast. The rest of the game seems to look decent.
