The system requirements for the game are surprisingly modest for a game that is actually a looker based on the trailers.

Plus, if Kena is made using UE5, this may be proof that UE5 will be extremely scalable on multitude of hardware.

I was told scalability is a myth and that when you make games scalable you are holding back the game. Base on this, Kena is being held back. 😎

EDIT: Your link doesn't indicate anything about the PS5 running at 60FPS

UE5 isn't ready for developers yet, the shown games on unreal engine are made on 4

@Pedro: as I said, "May." The link shows the required specs for the PC version. GTX 1070 is pretty much a mid tier GPU at this point.

@howmakewood: good to know that Kena is still using UE4.

@remiks00: Low system requirements for a looker of a game. That's what it means. That's why title says "MAY".

Good Lord, some people can't read.

If it wasn't for this cancerous 4k, there would be no "possibly", but a guaranteed 60fps. 4k is such a waste of frames.

This game is also on PS4 so of course it can run at 60fps on the PS5, possibly at 4K. I stress, possibly.

The minimum GPU is also Xbox One-tier.

I don't see this as a game needing 60fps.

@jasonofa36: The reason the game could have been a looker is because it may have been a PC running the game. We have yet to officially see the game on a PS5.

Not much we can discuss when everything is speculation.

@DragonfireXZ95: That's true. I'm getting it on the PC actually, just so I can assure that 60++ FPS framerate.

LMAO.

Minimum and Recommended specifications are not targeting 4K on PC.

The last 3-4 years has been a 970 in the recommended Specifications... Yet games with that GPU as recommended can't do 4K/60 with a RTX 2080 Ti unless you drop settings to High.

The PS4 version of the game will be running on cut down settings with no Ray Tracing, the PS5 version has Ray Tracing and will be Native 4K... It's not going to be 4K/60 not with a 1070 as recommended, the 5700 XT is barely any better than a 1080 Ti.

Recommended Specifications are usually 1080/60 or 1440/60 and lower settings than high.

i have no idea why people compare off the shelf gpu to console custom made gpus. console get more out of the same gpu you buy in the store than a pc. because all the other custom hardware in the console.

Because people don't? The comparisons are identifying off the shelf comparable performance, not comparing the same gpu off the shelf to the same gpu in the console. Which, as you noted doesn't really exist. Which completely negates your point.

I hope it's good. It being an action/adventure title that looks pretty with a lot of charm while endearing, usually comes with the caveat that action/adventure is just a cute of way of saying "Action game with really bad combat".

The fact that people is still saying "may run" when it comes to 60FPS on the latest Hardware is enough reason to not get that excited about this new gen.

Can't put my finger on it but the 2 min trailer looks fake unless it was running on a high end pc. Looks too clean.
