I don't think so. Xbox 360 is the worst console of all time. It's not even close. The console launched with a 54% failure rate and no other console has matched that. It doesn't matter if it had the best games ever made if over half of the consoles died and it can't play them. I had to buy 2, so to date, Xbox 360 is the most expensive POS console I've ever bought.

No. When I think of “worst console” I think of stuff like 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Virtual Boy. Maybe the subsequent Atari systems after the 2600 like the 5200 although I’m not sure how well they fared. Probably half a dozen others depending on what criteria you want to focus on.

The launch was bad but they righted the ship. I can't imagine thinking the Xbox One is worse than the Wii U. Did we not forget the Saturn? Jaguar? 3DO? Pippin? Master System? CD-I? Ouya? Neo Geo CD? And what about the fabled Infinium Phantom?

It's the worst Xbox. It is worse than any of the Playstations so far (although PS5 is competing with the PS3 currently to be the worst). Nintendo has done worse than Xbox One. Sega has done worse than Xbox One. Atari has done worse than Xbox One.

Sure, it had a couple good games but it was severely overpriced, the cartridges were massive and overpriced and the controller were massive arcade sticks. It was primarily an arcade fighting game system for the home with a few non-fighters such as Metal Slug.

Tons of Schmups, side scrollers, unique games like Crossed Swords. It sounds like you never played one and you're mad you couldn't afford one.

Jaguar has 50 games released, while the x1 has over 2500 games, many of which are shared with the ps4 and pc. If you say the x1 library is bad, you dismiss a very large portion of ps4 games. It may be redundant, but not bad. MS's first party wasn't the best during that gen, but there are a ton of great 3rd party games to play.

The X1 controller is considered by many to be the best controller ever.

This comes from someone who played a lot more ps4 than x1 over the last 7.5 years. I just don't have any allegiance to a plastic box.

@wonderwinner: I owned the vita, it really was trash. I loved the hardware, I even had an og ps vit with oled screen but still sold it because it literally had no games. It was a huge disappointment compared to the og psp.

But I do think xbone was pretty bad by itself. Xbox 360 was probably the greatest Xbox to date, but now thats the series x/s

Personally its not the worst console out there but its definitely the weakest in term of offerings compared to PS4 or Switch.
