Switch came out of the gate late, and they've been dominating ever since.
Do you think nintendo is top dog?
For my tastes, they are. I was pretty disappointed with this generation and ready to call it my least favorite generation ever until the Nintendo Switch was released and gave me the most fun that I've had with gaming in at least the last decade.
Nah. I like my Switch a lot but I only really play Indies, Zelda, and just bought Bayonetta. X1 and PS4 still get the bulk of my game time, albeit I admit that is less and less time lately.

Same.
To me, nope. Literally the only game I want is Metroid Prime 4, but they still haven't shown anything of it.
Meanwhile on the PS4, I've been playing Bloodborne, Gravity Rush 1-2, Nioh, Persona 5, Ryu ga Gotoku: Ishin!, SotC, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza 6, etc. As for what exclusives I plan to get next, Kiwami 2, Fist of the North Star, Virtual On Index, Border Break, MLB The Show 18, and Ghost of Tsushima are on my list.
@cainetao11: Yeah, that's why I only have one console nowadays... I just haven't got the time to invest in more than one. Even though I miss out on a bunch of games :(
LOL It's a Port Machine...
This, by far the most overrated device on System Wars. It has had 1 exclusive game that is truly great and a bunch of WiiU/last gen ports. It would be like celebrating the PS4 for having Uncharted 4 or Horizon in its first year and then 3-4 PS3 games that play and look the same on both systems, people would call it an embarrassment.
It's library is no better than the WiiU and Wii so far in their first couple of years. Until Nintendo start announcing that they are combining both handheld and console development into Switch, then right now it is just a better implemented WiiU, and it wasn't the technology that let down the WiiU it was the game droughts.
The Switch is the best move Nintendo could have made considering the art style their first party games seem to go with have a dedicated home console that is more power and expensive to make would have been a bad a idea... I love my Switch for what it is and with the games available for it its a superb purchase for the price.
I know its too soon but I am really looking forward to Switch 2... I can only imagine what it would be like with a GPU twice or three times as powerful.

Everything about this rant is purely dishonest.
How can it be killing everyone when its still getting dominated by PS4? It's a great secondary console but it's still far behind PS4 in sales (20 million PS4s sold last year compared to 15 million Switches) and games that aren't ports.

Ya do realize the PS4 was still the best selling console last year, right?
I definitely want one, and it would suit my lifestyle a whole lot more than my PS4 since I'm up and down so much.
But you know, I'm waiting for that price drop.
LOL It's a Port Machine...
LOL A Port Machine is killing everyone
This is like the Vita all over again: Indie and last gen ports.
Except it's actually selling well.
Nintendo is the greatest. The switch is what all us loyal fans who have stuck with nintendo through the BAD times, have been praying for. Im buying one this month

I loved my xbox 360(still do), and I love my ps4! You are absolutely right, but the reverse is true.

Ive a strong feeling that will be me soon. With the last 6 months of engineering school being the hardest and then after attaining employment I will not have much time for gaming because I like to spend time out of my apartment sometimes. I know, weird lol
If you think that a console with inferior multiplats and kiddy exclusives is dominating...then you have something wrong with you............unless you're 10 years old.
Fantastic answers so far.
Yes Nintendo is on a brutal murdering streak and I will likely be dead any day now.

No counter argument............*yawn*

There's nothing to counter but the usual drivel. It's not an argument worth anyone's time.
- Metroid Prim 4
Those are the list of games that interest me for the Switch. So not, I don't think Nintendo is "killing everyone".
No. The switch has no games. It is a glorified port machine with an overrated exclusive 7/10 Mario game. It had a bad first year but apparently since nintendo fanboys never played Skyrim 7 years ago, somehow it's amazing LOL
Best 1st year. Literally... Suck it.

In all fairness, you go to where sega is.

Still NO argument. lol
Everybody already owns PS4/X1, no wonder why the new kid in town is selling so well.
THIS. The Wii did really well at the start everyone I knew had one even if they didn't have any other consoles. But most would agree it was still shit.
I would get a switch if I could afford it tho. But besides brawl, Zelda games it doesn't appeal to me.

No, I go to where there are games I like, because this is the first gen that I've ever liked a playstation console the best. Nintendo hasn't released anything exclusively for the Switch that I care about yet. It's really that simple.

You know, nobody can get your goat if they don't know where it is ;)
Surprised you don't like BOTW.
All good though brotha.

BotW... yeah, that game did away with literally everything I like about Zelda - dungeons, cool items, music, a cheesy yet lovable story, and then it added the most annoying weapon breaking system that I've ever experienced. Zelda used to be a day one buy and console seller for me, but if this is the future, I might have to step away from the series. I'm really hoping that they don't eff up Metroid in a similar way, because it's my favorite Nintendo franchise after Zelda. :(
