i know they're not the same genre, or even revolve around a similar story line for that matter, but when you look at it this way, GeOW errupted on the Xbox Live scene, sort of like Halo did; and in school, nearly everyone talks about GeOW... forgetting all about Halo. so in a way, since no other dev could create a Halo killer, Microsoft had to do it themselves.

But 6-10 months after that Gears of War 2 comes out ;) Gears of War 2 won't come out in just over a year. Hell, they haven't even announced it. And Halo 3 will rock. It's gonna be on god status - because I said so :lol:

Just so Gears will be bigger and better.
Cows were hoping it would be Killzone and then Resistance. I think the current Halo killer is hyped to be Killzone 2. Gears of War is a better choice but most 360/Gears fans don't want Halo killed anyway.
Bungie is better than that. Bungie actually knows what we want to have. In the latest update they already mentioned they're making it ultra easy to mute people. Normally you would have to go to the slider and select it there, but it takes ages. Now it will take mere seconds.
