Microsoft will probably have Halo Reach (sept) , Fable 3 (oct) , and Gears 3 (nov) if it's possible.

I hope not. Resistance is a terrible franchise. I expected a lot more from Insomniac and I'm quite disappointed in their choice of IPs. Their one chance to do something great and they wasted it with more RnC and a FPS.
I can see it. I mean follow the time line. 2006 brought Gears of war and Resistance Fall of man....2008 brought Gears 2 and Resistance 2.....2010 should bring Gears 3 and Resistance 3.

1st: if geow3 comes next year it will be more of the same,not a bad think but if they want tokeep the AAA status they have to putmore hours in it.
2nd: Halo Reach is coming in the same year, so Microsoft will lose more money on the marketing than making money from these games, because halo players will buy halo and gears players will buy gears, but if they release gears in 2011 halo players and gears players both will buy halo reach next year and gears in 2011.

No. The END of next year, at this point, isn't very stacked. Resistance 3 and Gears 3 would be part of what makes it stacked. I could see them being released later for more diverse ideas so they don't become rehashes. But Insomniac and Epic are due for games to come out next year anyway.
The year isnt too crowded seeing as most of the big titles are set to release by the summer. I think we could see Resistance 3 definetly and maybe Gears 3 but that AND Halo Reach in the same year would be sick

And Microsoft having 3 multimillion selling franchises out in the same quarter of the year, with everything else that is coming wouldn't make sense.
most of the titles am looking forward to seem to have a release in the first 4/5 months of 2010, so i would gladly welcome games such as R3 & Geow3 towrds the end of 2010..
I do expect these two games to be released next year and I would be alot more excited about Resistance 3 if the rumour about it going Modern warfare was true.
No one knows for sure but seeing as Ted Price(of Insomniac, CD of Resistance franchise) hasn't been heard of all freakin year, it's very possible they are hard at work on Resistance 3, or possibly a new IP. Either way it's almost guaranteed EPIC & Insomniac will have something in 2010. BTW people stop hating on Resistance. If you only played Resistance 2 then the lack of back track knowledge from RFOM makes you unaware of the franchise. RFOM was actually one of the best FPSs' it this gen. It's sad the sequel's SP was lackluster. But if you're like me & beat RFOM you would have hope in the franchise. The game is really kick ass. I'd also say it's as good as Gears 1 & I played & completed both of them last September 2008. Those games are amazing. Please stop schunning down Resistance.

Well I guess I'm one of the few who actually preferred R2 over RFOM. The only thing I like about RFOM better was ability to play the main campaign splitscreen. I would love to see what happens with the story after the crazy ending of R2.
I myself would probably pass on Gears of War 3. Gears 2 was not that great. If they can make it more like the original Gears of War I'll pick it up, but if it follows the convoluted claptrap that was Gears of War 2 and it's STILL GLITCHED multiplayer than I'll heartily pass.

I hope R3 actually has a freaking narrator and the wheel of death this time around. Other than a horrible convoluted story that was mashed up R2 was a great game hence it's 9.0 it got here on GS.

They did it with 3 and gears so whats the stretch? Gears 2 came out in 2008. Halo 3 was released in 2007. Gears 1 in 2006. Halo Wars doesn't really count but that was early 2008.

Yes I want to play as the Cole Train. To answer the Q no on Gears 3. Doesn't make sense with Halo Reach. But they already did it once before Halo 3 and GeoW 1 game out in the same year right?
