I just double-checked, IGN gave Diablo 3 a 9.5 and didn't even bother putting it on its GotY list! Puuuuuthetic. They basically just admitted they're Blizzard advertisers with ZERO journalistic integrity, as most of us have known for years. So glad I've never been a regular visitor there...

It's still fresher than the game in your avatar. Yea, easy random pot luck flash games with about 5 different combat outcomes is sooo much better than diablo.
Only two of those are exclusive to the PC...how is that dominating?

And the main point is that out of the 10,7 are available on the PC,making it not only the system with more exclusives in the list but also the ability to play most of the games there.

I don't really care...was simply commenting on including the other games as "pseudo" PC exclusives like somehow they all counted just because it's on PC. I couldn't care less about nominations, just the winner.

Ahw man I actually liked that game a lot (for a while, anyway) and it saddens me that it ruined Curt Schilling :(
I think Far Cry 3 will miss out on a lot of awards since it just came out and many have not been able to play it

It´s the same reason as to why Hawken is gonna miss the awards or like SW ToR missed last year,coming out by the time the awards are already underway.
this year had xenoblade - marioparty 9 nascar 2012 007 legends nsmb u and this is all ign can come up with nascar never wins a goty some people need to give it a chance and i dont think wwe has ever gotten one nor has a 007 game since goldeneye!

As far as I'm aware, today's December 5. Far Cry 3 just released. Many places already seem to be making lists and handing out awards. Can no one hold their wad for another 25 days? Someone explain to me how GotY can be in anyway credible when the goddamn year has not even finished yet. Maybe this is just me as no one else seems to have an issue with this, but it'd be great to get an explanation.
Didn't expect to see Hotline Miami on there. I'm surprised IGN even knew that game existed.

Oh wow I didn't even see that. That and Hotline Miami are both 16-bit games. How funny would that be if they won GOTY over massively budgeted AAA games :P
Would be so awesome...and here's the thing, probably well deserved. FTL is a masterpiece of game design :).
