[QUOTE="-Spock-"][QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="-Spock-"] It will not happen. But if so, the third party just stabbed Sony in the back with the biggest blade they could find. Tekken has always been on a Sony platform - it was born on and has been exclusive to the PlayStation brand for over ten years for God sake. And I think Sony publish the console version too...

WTF? Stabbed in the back? Bro, companies can't always wait for Sony to get their *hit in gear before they can feed their families and keep the lights on. How much money did Namco lose on Ridge Racer (PS3)? TONS. they openly stated they needed to sell 500,000 copies before they would even turn a profit. they didn't sell 30% of that target. *uck loyalty. Loyalty doesn't pay the bills. When the PlayStation 3 sells more units and when PS3 owners actually start BUYING GAMES, devs will not feel forced to take these measures. But selling 100,000 copies of a game this generation gets people fired. You need to understand this is a business.Of course I understand this is business. But for so long people have talked of the stranglehold Sony has had on the console industry. Simply moving all PS3 support onto the 360 however is not the answer. This will equate to even less sales of the PS3 in favor of the cheaper Xbox 360. It's all good talking about evening the playing fields this gen, but flat out annhialating the PS3 from the market is even worse business than losing some money at the start of the gen.
You have mentioned that once people buy more PS3s, then more third party developers will be attracted to the platform. But if there is barely any third party support in the first place due to a loss of exclusives, then no one will buy it and as a result even less third part support will come to the console. It's a viscious circle.
No...... only fanboys make it the viscious circle !! When a company starts selling the loyalty.. name plate cr@p instead of the content of the product when compared to their compitition....... I jump into the best on the market and leave that foolishness behind ! You should try it ;)I already did last-gen. I own every console, and love them all equally. But without a loyal fanbase, or 'fanboy' if you will, the PS3 console will crumble. A manticore like myself does not want that to happen. I really don't want to see another Sega Dreamcast, and neither should anyone else.
We have missed out on the Dreamcast's next-gen successor, which is a sad, sad thing...
