If Spiderman outscores God of War would that put the final nail in the xbox one coffin?

That would mean greatness has finally arrived with the ps4 delivering amazingness with Horizon zero dawn spiderman and god of war the a triple threat.

No, the Xbox one has sold over 30 million consoles. It’s going to be around for quite awhile.

Microsoft has to substantially address the games issue this e3 with something new and fresh. If they do that then it’s fine. Their install base is big enough for them to bounce back with killer apps. But they need the games. Everything else is in place.

@boycie: I wonder how many of those are from multiple purchases from the same person... Like people with the huge non HDR Xbox One hopefully would have upgraded to the S or X. I could say the same for PS4 to Pro(or slim), but I don't think many people had much reason to upgrade.

Nothing against Xbox One, it also has a good library, but even if PS4 stopped getting games today, i would still have games to play for the next 5 years.

So much this. I think it is important for the industry for everyone to do well. Just because Sony is the God of consoles does not mean 2nd and 3rd can't be successful also. They all have their niche and I like where the industry is today. I do hope Microsoft brings it at E3, because it would be great for the industry. I also hope Sony and Nintendo do the same because it brings even more excitement to the industry. The last few E3s have been pretty damn bland.

I have a good track record of getting things right around here. For instance, when the Cows were thinking last year's E3 was going to be freakadelic amazeballs, I was saying that it seems like they don't have much to show. They showed like, what? Two new retail exclusives, I think?

What's more important than "everyone doing well" is for dead weight that is doing nothing to push gaming forward to get out of the way for someone who will.

Lately (2017/18) is has been ridiculous. I have a list of over 50 games i want to play but haven't had time yet.

No... There is no nail for Xbox ones coffin. Video games don't do that anymore. They simply either have customers who buy the console and are happy or gaming fans who don't buy the console and buy something else instead.

There is only a system war going on inside your head. Everyone else is most likely really happy they're playing games on a device in the modern age, tethered to friends and an online community.

even if the whole forum said no, the reality is, the average consumer DOES NOT like xbox. Its dead.

Probably not, because funnily enough the most played games out there are not 10-20 hour action games that Sony focuses on.

Beyond the graphics hype and initial "WoW" most Sony Exclusives end up being dust collectors and you lot end up going straight back to whatever inferior-multiplat games you were playing prior.

I think Horizon put the final nail in tbh.
