Can't play Dark Souls on it,.
Nintendo clearly has good software going for themselves. Why are they so stubborn on also not coupling it with better/comparable hardware too? They could've had a win-win.
And yet, they're always scratching their heads on why no (or more) third-parties ever bother porting to them.
What are you talking about? The Switch has great 3rd party support.
It doesn't really though, we could play a game were people keep posting third party games missing on switch.
@thehig1: you're confusing the issue. Whole Foods doesn't sell Oreos, but most of its food is "third party". Lack of graphically intensive Hollywood games (due to power issues, presumably) does not negate the fact that most of the Switch's library is actually 3rd party
Imitation is the best form of flattery, good luck to them.
Imitation is one thing, but what those hardware developers don't get is, good quality Software is what sells hardware.
Ok.
First there have been devices for cell phones that encase your phone making it look like a switch kindoff years before the switch was launch or even unveil.
Second more people play games on cell phone than on switch by a landslide, and while i can say the software may not be up there with what Nintendo has on the console, there is a ton of software which range from free to very cheap that is good.
You can even play Fortnite and controllers like those will help allot.
A phone with a 7.2" screen... who the hell is going to carry that monster around with them?
Physical controls on only one side? Um... yeah...
A pathetic software library?
And a staggering price tag?
Take my money!
No, not really.
A big person?
In my hands it may look huge but on some one with big hands not really, also the same apply to the switch which is portable who will carry that around.?
Pathetic software? Come on man that shit runs on Android which has tons of good game cheap or free.

Do you have any idea just how big 7.2" is? That's not a phone, that's a tablet! No way will anyone carry that monster around with them on a daily basis when a traditionally sized smartphone is much more convenient. Yes, the Switch is portable, but it's a purpose built device that is generally stowed in a bag and only pulled out occasionally, unlike a general purpose smartphone which most people have on their person at all times.
And while there are a handful of decent games for Android, the vast majority of them are trash, and there's nothing on the Android marketplace that comes anywhere close to approaching the quality of the Switch's software library.

GameCube tells another story.
On topic, it would be a Switch killer, at least in China, because...
1. Switch never released in mainland China (though it did in Hong Kong) as Nintendo releases it's games through OTHER methods
2. Chinese are still iffy about anything from Japan
Everywhere else though? Nah...
They should've included that gamepad attachment with the Huawei Mate 20 X, especially considering the retail price.
The fact that it's being offered as an optional accessory means that a lot of games likely won't support it, similar to the 3DS circle pad pro.

Yes less than an inch bigger than my Galaxy Note 8.
Great because the Switch isn't a phone either and is big considering the controllers as well.
Portability arguments vs this phone are a joke considering the switch is not a 3DS that fit in your pocket easy.
The line between tablets and phones was blur long time ago,The Iphone XS max is 6.5 inch.
But there is a Truck ton of games that are good, from shooter to racing games, strategy, even console remakes, hell you can even use bluetooth controllers with it as well, not to mention dah it is a phone you can get a ride, make a video call with friends, play, browse a truck ton of social apps which work best on phones.
You just described a Cell phone in that bold part, you know Mario Run has been downloaded more than 100 million people on just android market alone?
That is what they are pick and play games for moments, like i already stated you can even play fortnite on it.

Smartphones are general purpose devices by definition. They're designed for a wide variety of tasks, which is why if you just want to play games, then a purpose-built gaming device like the 3DS or Switch will always be the superior option. It's a mistake to think of the Switch as just a tablet with physical controls. There's so much more to it than that, which is why half-assedly slapping a JoyCon-wannabe on the side of an oversized Android smartphone will never be a Switch-killer.
Look, if you want to play games on the go, then you buy a Switch for a third of the price of this beast. If you want a smartphone, then you buy something that can be comfortably held in one hand and will actually fit in your pocket. Nobody is going to buy this monstrosity.
Huwawewi can't make a portable powerful without letting the price skyrocket. Apparently it's not that easy to sell something like a Switch or Switch 2 that costs below $600.

What? Exactly is more? Is just a real portable Wii U,but is not a 3DS,is bulky like that phone is.
Game wise switch it has deeper games, but at the same time is not even close to the amount of games you will get on android market.
The fun part about this joycon wannabe argument is that cellphones before NIntendo switch had something similar i am tire of people crediting Nintendo for shit they didn't invent.
Yeah that is a 2014 device for Iphone,oh look is that GTA VC.?
Did i forget to tell you that you can stream your phone to your TV as well without cables?
This is lol worthy man Cellphone have tons of good games tons, sure many are shitty but many are good, and since that device also doubles as a phone and gaming machine as well,is even more of as advantage since you don't need to carry 2 devices.
Yeah but then you will not do 1 3rd of the things you could do with that Phone.
