Im in the UK, and i await the result. All i know is that no pre-orders on the internet are sold out, that includes high regarded retailers such as GAME, Gamestation, Argos, HMV etc. I only currently know of one person that has pre-ordered a PS3, and that was because his dad payed for it. In the UK its £425, which is alot of money, considering the Wii is £180, and the 360 Preminum is £270. But we will have to see, my brother is going to walk into town tomorrow and see whats going on and if he can just 'walk into a shop and pick one up.'
Floppy Roo... After hearing really bad press about the PS3 since November over in Europe, why would anyone over there run out and buy it? Especially with the news that VF5, DMC4, Ace Combat... on and on... are all coming to the 360 anyway?

When does it come over there again? I thught paying $600 in the states was crazy $$$ but over in Euope I think it's the equivalent to over $800 USD right? Now THAT is crazy!!!

I second that. But I think it won't be such a hit. Though the paper today said 40,000 of 50,000 Ps3's in holland were pre-ordered already. Meh, I dont know if ill believe this. Its probable to make a hype.

With a population of just over 16 million, 40-50k systems seems to be a lot.. I don't believ it either.
