Yeah i am curious, soon even MS allow you to refund games. Dont remember but is it 1year since Steam started let us refund games? how many times have you used it so far?

I have used it 2times and it works great, new releases on Steam is expensive but at least you can get money back.

Now when think about it i had never been able to get money back from PC games before if you had broken the wrapping.

I've spent $20 on Steam for both L4D games years ago. I've since downloaded 3 other games (all free) and played them collectively for maybe 5 hours.

I'm not a PC gamer.

I used it once because the game didn't run well. It's a great system.

Eventhough I bought some games on Steam, never I had asked for a refund. I bought the games long before Steam allowed refunds.

Once or twice. Whenever I buy a game on Steam, it's usually so cheap I don't care enough to refund it, even if I don't dig it.

Few times. Biggest one was for No Man's Sky.

It's really nice to have such a system. Gives you more confidence when buying a game,.

True, those 5 euro games is not worth bother with, but when it is 59,99 euro games it is another story. Feels nice to be able to take more chances.

When I had my gaming PC, I only bought games with controller support. I've returned 4 impulse buys that were noise and keyboard only.

Just once, and it was for Crysis.

I thought my computer could handle it, boy was I wrong, felt like I was playing a PowerPoint presentation.

I was on a classic shooter kick and decided to blow my load on the Serious Sam collection. Wasn't feeling it though.

Aside from that, I refunded some crappy fighting game, can't even remember what it's called.

Probably about 10 times.

Most of the Steam games that I buy are VR games for my Vive and Steam's refund policy is a godsend for that since VR games are so much harder to judge than regular games if you are going to enjoy it or not or if it will give you motion sickness or not until you put on the headset and just try it. And once you put on the headset, it becomes obvious within a few minutes if it is a keeper or one to refund.

Not once.

I wouldn't try to save money by getting new releases and refunding them because there just isn't enough time to play properly.

Quite a few times. It definitely increased my confidence into buying games many like me wouldn't otherwise attempt for fear of not liking it. Especially with Indie games. There are quite a few others I probably should have tested out within 14 days and refunded, like Special Delivery, it says full controller support but I couldn't get it to work at all and it seems more of an alpha ready game than final but basically if you Neve rheard of it, it's a VR version of Paperboy minus a lot of the details.

None because I don't game on PC. It's a great feature though and it's nice to see Microsoft start doing it themselves. It probably won't be something that I'll ever use though as I'm very informed with my game purchases and I know what I'll like but at least the option will be there.

None. I tend to research my buys extensively precisely to avoid having to refund.

That said, I have had to delete a few games from my library, most notably State of Decay, which were bought long before the refund policy and were already too gone to be eligible.

Once because a Japanese game didn't run at all. (Couldn't get past main menu.) Close to refunding Nier Automata cause they aren't updating the port.

That was the first game i made refund on, not because it was not working, it ran just perfect for me. I returned it because it was boring, i really tried to like it but it did not work. I Played it 14min over the limit you can play but it was no problem get refund.

I had expect refunds was more common here in SW than it appear to be.

Once for Devil May Cry 3, I can't believe people gave the game such positive feedback, it lacked 1080p res (let alone 1440p) and the control setup was HORRIBLE, and no I don't care if there is a fix for it, the fix requires so much effort that the devs shouldn't even get paid for this game, you don't sell me something and then tell me to fix it.

Never. I usually research games enough to avoid being dissapointed. Very good thing to be able to do, though, if the game doesn't work properly or something. But there's always a solution for games that don't work properly, and I'm usually quicker at finding out what than giving up.

Probably 20+ times, but I always ask for it credited back to my Steam wallet so they're never losing money. I imagine if I were constantly getting my money back they'd be a lot less understanding but so far my refunds have been granted with no trouble.

Yeah, that was a shit port. I've considered giving it a go with the fixes, but I already have the HD collection on PS3, so meh.

Have you tried the DMC4 port though? That's some good shit.

Zero. I was close when I bought RE5 for 30 bucks, and a day later it went on sale for $15. If was in Canada I would have gotten a refund, but I was in Australia, with shitty internet speeds. I couldn't be bothered downloading it again.

Probably 7 or 8 games I've tried on sales and didn't dig them. Nice feature.
