When was the last time Halo was available in HD?

Yeah comparing an amazing and revolutionary title like Planetside 2 to yet another Halo is like comparing the nuclear bomb to a spear. Planetside being the awesome advanced weapon and Halo being the primitive spear used by peasants.

Its just not fair, Planetside 2 is too great and OP knows it.

I agree, a great FPS should never be compared to a mediocre franchise like Halo. Good enough for XBox maybe, but not good enough to compete on the PC platform.

I just loooove it when people use internet scores to argue a game's quality, as opposed to making their own argument based off the game's merits.

Hermits get Halo, and they've pretty much shown they don't care for it. I imagine if Planetside 2 was on Xbox lems would be creaming their jeans over it, but they can't play it so they hate on it. Hermits are allowed to hate on Halo if they've played it, then their opinion is valid on the title because they know how good or bad it is compared to their tastes and measures of quality.

I love Halo for the record, but I think Planetside 2 will poop on Halo 4. I don't have to hate Halo 4 just because Planetside 2 will be more enjoyable and unique.

The story and lore behind that game is far beyond what Halo will ever have to offer too.

From a PC gamer POV, Halo is sort of just another console corridor shooter, so arbitrary scores mean little in this context.

...I haven't seen anybody comparing those two games...
