What say you fellow SW fans? It sure seems like all the updates that 343 has been releasing for Halo Infinite is keeping people active in the game on Xbox! Have you also been playing more Halo Infinite as they release each season?

And what new project is 343 working on? Halo 7???

Sadly, it has taken far, far too long to get here...

I only played a few matches when S5 drop, there are just too many damn games I'm playing now, it's hard to get back into Infinite at this point. December is the month I'm looking to return for more matches.

Dowloaded the game, played three matches, deleted the game and went on reddit to troll the **** out of 343i.

Robocop and starfield currently taking up gaming time and that isn't much to start with. Wish I was a kid again.

In all fairness, Halo: Infinite's SP was solid, it was the lack of content for MP that was the real problem. As long as the SP was great, that's all that matter in the end, and being on Game Pass/free-2-play did help Halo: Infinite staying on gamer's good side, to say the least. My only grip is they completely abandon Split-Screen and don't give me who cares about Split-Screen cause it isn't a Halo game without it. Split-Screen is the foundation for Halo.

It is hardly surprising that Halo has that many unique accounts as they got the game as part of their subscription. How many concurrent players have they got - answer me that.

Or keep on kissing MS's backside and run their propaganda for them.

Yeah, I love the SP for Halo Infinite. The MP I skipped. Didn't interest me.

Sounds like mission accomplished for MS. And a win win for gamers. And a loss for cows.

@kvallyx: But do they truly value the games they get that way? I certainly don't. Subscription services like GP and PS Plus devalue games you do not have to pay money for. In the past you used demos to see if you liked the game and then you paid full value for it. You would have fewer games but you would value the ones you could buy.

I don't use Game Pass, so I don't know. I buy all my games, full price at release.

Really good to see the positive resurgence for Halo Infinite.. With still playing Starfield and an ever growing backlog (Phantom Liberty is next on my list), it's tough for me to hop back into Infinite like i used to but i'm really looking forward to seeing what they'll be doing with the upcoming Firefight mode..

Loved the campaign and multiplayer, played it quite a bit. Would like to hop back into it to check out the new updates and what not but there’s just too many games to play.

Who said that Xbox has more players than PC? Do you have numbers? You do not, and i do on pc.

Infinite numbers on the Xbox might be no more than 2k players, and 1.8k playing Destiny 2, a game that has its primary playerbase on playstation thanks to the popularity of the ps4, followed by pc. So until MS reveals the amount of players playing Infinite, Steam Charts is all that matters, and the game is clearly dead.

Thanks to Bonny Ross, she has destroyed Halo forever. Its over. MS has no flagship titles anymore.

The Xbox chart doesn't give numbers. Plus Steam has WAY more choices in games than Xbox spuds do... and Halo just ain't cutting it on Steam

Nothing either one of you said changes the fact that using Steam charts alone doesn't represent the entirety of the Halo Infinite player base.. 😑 Using Steam alone very likely misrepresents the player base since it's clearly possible that more people play via the Xbox ecosystem than Steam..

This is aweseome news!!! especially since Starfield and redfall failed pretty badly this year.

I enjoyed the campaign, but I've no interest in PvP and they've no PvE online modes. I liked Halo 5 better for both campaign and it's Warzone Firefight PvE mode.

Can i play the multi-player without Gold membership? I hare paying for subs

People tend to forget Halo: Infinite is cross-play both Steam & Xbox live. I personally wouldn't worry about Steam charts cause they don't track Xbox live players.

Truth is, people "rented" it for a month on gamepass for pc/xbox, played through its campaign, tried it broken and empty multiplayer, bitched on reddit for 1-3 weeks, uninstalled, and now, all what's left is APATHY. This is your flagship title.

Multiplayer is free to play...

I'm sure that 30m includes the 90% who played the game a few times then haven't touched it in years.

Of course. That's why they will tell you worthless metrics like how many bullets were fired and how many spartans died in the multiplayer instead of giving you useful numbers like how many copies the game has sold and how many are playing the game one year in.

I play on and off, once forge came out the MP turned a corner and got good. The base game was good at launch but lacked the content. Now it's got a ton. It's solid. As far as MP FPS I pretty much alternate between OW2 and Halo Infinite nowadays.

I beleive thats the highest concurrent players not total game sales. The 30 million unique users will be accross PC and XBOX too.
