Halo 3 requires no skill, CoD4 has more skill.

CoD4 has such fast reflexes, more realistic, better weapon variety, better maps.

In CoD 4 you cant run anywhere or find some overshields or bubble to hide. In halo3 you can escape from an enemy and you die from nowhere.

CoD4 you have to aim, you work in teams, you create a plan to eliminate the other opponents unlike your nine year old friends on halo who QQ when they die cause theyre too young for this game.

CoD4 also is just better. Has a better dev. Snipers in cod4 are so much more pro than halo also. The BR is the most easy weapon to use.

Halo 3 is way more fun and that's what matters to me. COD4 is yuckity yuck yuck.

You know what ticks me off whenever I hear a description about CoD4? THAT!

5 hours of play and i managed to destroy the competition in COD4. the guns have no recoil, fast movements, the game is based on run n gun. no skill is needed.

from the console shooters i have played i would say killzone 2 or team fortress 2 required the most skill. call of duty the least imo

I've been playing both Halo 3 and COD4's multiplayer for like over a year now and I can definitely say that COD4 takes nowhere near as much skill as Halo 3.

COD4 has too many weapons and perks that earn you cheap kills. Stuff like the Grenade launcher (far too easy to use yet very powerful) and the Martyrdom perk (no explanation there). Then you have the helicopter that just makes things even more unbalanced.

If you honestly think that COD4 takes more skill then go try out Halo 3's MLG.

I just read TP again and it actually says CoD has more weapon variaty. :lol:

COD4 is anything BUT skill if you ask me. Their are just so many times where I am blindly shot in the back or at the sides and giving no chanse to fight. That is why I avoid playing on hardcore servers which are actually more like "noob" servers. At least in Halo 3 the maps are designed so that you will actually be fighting you enemy head on..

Halo 3 i always found noob friendly. Maybe because it takes a lot to go down, but actually, that makes it fun.

Cod4 is a lot more realistic. Halo more arcade-like.

I think both games require skill, just different kinds.

If console players want a real test of multiplayer first person shooter. Play counter-strike source. I still have yet to play a shooter game that not only requires excellent hand-eye coordination but also so much precision. But that is a moot point in this thread...lol...

I haven't played Halo 3, but it's pretty much impossible to be bad at CoD4.

In CoD, the guns are more unbalanced, and you die in one shot. Who ever sees the person, wins.

Also, there are more Halo tournaments than CoD ones (Not even sure if there are. I know there weren't a year ago).

I have to agree that cod 4 overall has better maps, halo 3 has a few great ones and other I just don't like. However, you can use vehicles in halo 3. Therefore, i'm just glad to have both.

What a thoughtful argument. I didn't know faster reflexes= more realistic, running nowhere made games fun, having to aim, work in teams, and eliminating opponents wasn't in Halo, and that CoD was "just better".
