Greatest games with dissapointing endings? *spoilers*

Mass Effect is probably going to become my favorite storyline of all time if the sequel brings some new storytelling elements and have more FREAKING EPIC endings.

If MGS4 ended bad for anyone, then any game ends bad for them. MGS4 ending was like 1 hour long. THAT was a satisfying ending imo. Best ending this gen. GTA IV was crap. There was no replayability after. It's a great game, I LOVED it, but it missed on so many features previous GTAs like Vice City had. I wasn't interested in that San Andreas RPG bs.

I thought it was pretty perfect. That whole game felt like an "ending" just because it was the end for Solid Snake.

That game was as close to perfect as anything I've ever played.

I'll admit I was kind of let down with the ending I got in Deus Ex when....

Am I the only one that actually liked the ending to Assasin's Creed? I thought it was cool, although I have no idea what half of the stuff written means.

But yes, Bioshock was definitely disappointing.

^^There were three diferent endings if I recall. At the end you were left with a really tough choice. Bob Page pissed me off so much what I did was instead of killing him, I took what he worked to hard to obtain. I sure showed him.mo0ksi

I was so tempted to do that too. But I hated Helios. I almost blew everything up. But the thought of a new dark age I wasn't so keen on.

Before people speak out Bioshock, its "Good" ending is awesome. The other two are crap.

I'm the only one who liked the Halo 2 ending lol. It really set the mood for Halo 3 imo.

atleast halo 2 had amazing MP to make up for the anger I felt :P

yeah halo 2 is def up there. Bungie have said they ran out of time and had to cut like 2 levels from the end of the game, which was a bummer. It was all building up to this epic finale and then boom, end credits roll out of nowhere. It's a shame because the single player was actually quite good, that ending just ruined it for a lotta folks.

It's rare that I actually make it all the way to the end of games these days, but I'd have to go with Twilight princess.

Seriously, some of the best levels in Zelda history with a ton of gameplay... but the ending was absolute crap. Especially after a very satisfying ending in WW with ganon realizing he's almost destined to lose... TP just felt uninspired.

Assassin's Creed's ending was a joke.

I actually really liked Bioshocks ending (Well, the good ending. It made me cry.), and Mass Effects ending made me want the next game right then and there, so awesome.
